This subscription comes packaged in a blue and white box, and when you open it you find the items thoughtfully tucked inside sizzle and tissue paper, and sealed with a sticker. You can really tell Bath Bevy pays attention to detail by how they pack their box. There is also an info sheet detailing the products inside.

Bath Bevy "Winter Wonderland” December 2023 Review

Holiday Cheer Winter Wonderland Body Lotion - Retail Value $12

This body lotion has scent notes of vanilla and bourbon- it’s so warm and cozy! I like that this lotion gives off a rich fragrance but isn’t too rich in texture. It’s moisturizing to my skin but doesn’t leave me feeling greasy or like there’s a layer on top of my skin I can’t rub away.

Indoorsy Epsom Salt - Retail Value $16

I love Epsom salt soaps, and typically mix the fun-scented ones from Bath Bevy with additional plain Epsom salts for maximum scent enjoyment and therapeutic benefit. This has quite the delicious scent mix of lavender petals, lemon zest, and freshly baked muffins. I love both lavender and lemon and think they pair beautifully together- this Epsom salt is going to go perfectly with a mug of hot tea as I peacefully soak away my aches.

Caramelized Pear Whipped Soap Scrub - Retail Value $15

This whipped soap scrub has a yummy scent of sugary pears and it's quite nice- I don't think pears get enough attention and appreciation for how delicious they are. This is Bath Bevy's classic whipped soap formula, which is gentle on the skin with scrubby sugar granules dispersed throughout the fluffy formula. It's a treat to use if you're used to bar soaps and shower gels!

Candy Cane Fizzy Bath Dust by Two Wild Hares - Retail Value $10

I love it when Bath Bevy sends fizzy bath dust- it’s such a fun product that can be used in a variety of ways. Think of this as a powdered bath bomb you can use on its own or mixed with other bath products. This one didn’t add any color but did create a delightful fuzzy foam when I added it to water, and it contains a few biodegradable green stars. The peppermint, vanilla, and sugar scent smells just like candy canes, which was perfect when I had a headache and tried to alleviate it by soaking in a hot bath.

Here's what it looks like.

Winter Home Bath Bomb - Retail Value $8

This bath bomb has a scent blend of citrus, vanilla,  clove, and cinnamon. The clove was delightfully prominent, and I really enjoyed this warm, cozy scent as I soaked in my blue bath water.

I poured a handful of the Indoorsy bath salts into my bath when using this, and the blue and purple colors were quite lovely.

Mulberry Bath Bomb - Retail Value $8

I don't actually know what a mulberry is, but this bath bomb is scented with notes of cherry, strawberry, tangerine, orange, and mango. It sounds like it would be delicious as a drink, and it was equally yummy as a bath bomb scent.

Value – Was This Box Worth It?

The Cost: $43.21 per month + $7.95 shipping.

Value Breakdown: Everything in this box is handmade by Bath Bevy or another small business. Bath Bevy will typically sell these products individually on the website, and everything this month added up to $69.

Key Takeaways

I love that I can always count on Bath Bevy to send me a box filled with relaxing bath products that smell great, and this month was no exception. My favorite item in the box was the candy cane fizzy bath dust, as it was both delightfully-scented and fun to use. This is definitely the subscription for someone looking to add a little extra fun to their monthly bath routine. If you don't take baths, don't let that deter you from subscribing! Bath Bevy also offers a tubless subscription. If you're a fan of artisan bath products, this is a subscription box worth checking out. You deserve a little extra self-care!

I am a staunch believer that pineapple doesn’t belong on pizza and when I’m not working as a family law attorney I enjoy hiking the Louisiana trails (alligator sightings are a favorite!) or relaxing with Duchess, my cat. I’m a sucker for anything labeled a mystery box and I’ve never met a bath bomb I didn’t like.
