First Impressions
I absolutely adore cats. In my 35 (almost 36) years, I have never been without one, so when the opportunity to review the CatLadyBox arrived, I snapped it right up. The little gal that will be helping me test out this box is my 14 year old best friend named Miley. She has been with me through thick and thin, and while elderly, is still as sassy as ever. Let's dig in, shall we?!
I honestly was so excited to see this treat in my mailbox. Arriving in a brown cardboard box with a kitty silhouette, I couldn't wait to rip into it. Featuring black tissue paper held together by a sticker, it presented as a lovely gift and has the potential to hold anything from cat-themed jewelry, clothes, home decor, and more. If you subscribe to the Crazy CatLadyBox, you'll get a few treats for your furbaby, too.
Along with the items, this box also comes with an info sheet, featuring custom artwork on the opposing side. This month's art was created by Eva Farb, and totally looks like a kitty I had growing up!

I've worked in the public school system for the last 5 years, and I love wearing funny shirts to school. Friday is casual day, so jeans are permitted, but even pairing a cute shirt like this with black slacks and a jean jacket works. With super soft fabric, this particular tee is extra comfy and a joy to put on. The open mouthed kitty with "purr, purr, purr" across the front is silly and cute, and the elementary kids loved it. I received a unisex medium, and it was big enough to knot on the side for a more trendy look. Overall, I loved this month's pink color, sweet design, and style.
Purrfect Pair Tiny Trinkets - Listed Value $13.99
With this subscription, you never quite know what you are going to get, and I have to say, I love the subtle ways in which they incorporate cats into everyday items. This month we received a set of trinket dishes, and while only featuring the outline of the kitties face, are super cute. Perfect for keeping your rings or jewelry from rolling into the sink, I have placed these on my bathroom vanity for a little pizazz. Made from bamboo, one kitty features an oval shaped head with stripes, while the other is more round with a spot on the ear. Subtle and sweet, this doesn't take it over the top, but is a really fun way to show your love of felines.
Purrfect Planter - Listed Value $14.99
I love gardening and plants, so I was extremely excited to see this cat planter. Ceramic in material, this small planter features a drainage hole on the bottom, and an adorable face and tail. While the content card shows a succulent planted in this guy, I'm thinking about planting some sage seeds instead. Purrfect for spring, this was a fabulous inclusion that I can't wait to watch grow!
Meow Mail Cat Mat - Listed Value $15.99
Next up is this adorable "Meow Mail Stamp Cat Mat". And just look at those brilliant colors!! I am mail obsessed, so the stamp design was a fantastic fit for me, but was ultra snuggly for Miley. Perfect for her to lay on and knead, she really liked the soft fabric on both sides. I've added this to her cat bed, and she loves it! Great inclusion!
Cupid's Arrow Catnip Toy - Listed Value $4.99
The last item we received was an arrow filled with catnip. Miley batted at this toy a bit, and seemed to like the feathers on the end. It also crinkled a bit, which caught her attention. When Miley is around catnip, she doesn't seem to get cranked up like some cats do, but gets sleepy instead. After batting the toy around for a few minutes, she curled up on her new blanket and caught some Z's. Just look at that sweet little lady!
