First Impressions
Each month, Nourish Beauty Box usually arrives in a box with an info card that has a quick overview of the box on one side and more detailed information about the products included on the other.
Nothing unusual with this month's packaging, and I'm interested to see what's been included this time around.
Now, on to the items!
NOURISH NATURALS Creamy Vegan Stain in Pink Radish, 2 g - Retail Value $22
This month’s signature product, as has been the pattern lately, is Nourish Naturals’ Creamy Vegan Stain. This time around I received the shade, ‘Pink Radish.’ Unfortunately, this particular shade doesn’t stand out on my skin tone. On the lips, it’s definitely giving that ‘barely there’ look, and it is highly moisturizing without being sticky, which I appreciate. The formula is packed with enriching ingredients like shea and kokum butters and marshmallow root extract, and a little goes a long way. Using this as a blush isn’t an option due to my combination skin (it would slide right off my face). I’ll always wish for a built-in applicator though since I’m not a huge fan of sticking my fingers in products.

KALEIDO COSMETICS Glow Blush in Cherry Gold, 3 g - Retail Value $8
I haven’t had the greatest relationship with blush over the years; most experiences end in an oil-induced slide down my cheeks. But I’ve had quite a lot of success with Kaleido Cosmetics’ products, so I decided to give this Glow Blush a try. I received the shade, ‘Cherry Gold,’ and it offers a nice touch of color. Its velvety-smooth formula seamlessly melds with my skin, giving that flushed look that’s suitable for everyday wear. When it comes to combination skin like mine, powder blushes are usually the way to go, and this one could become a new fave. The amount of shimmer is just perfect, and the blush itself performs quite well when it comes to all-day wear.

PRECIME Exosome Mineral SPF34 UV Protective Cream, 30 g - Retail Value $34
I wear sunscreen every single day, and I’m always looking for the perfect product that doesn’t leave behind that stubborn white cast. When I gave this cream a try, I was surprised at how nicely it absorbed into my skin after a few extra minutes. The product comes out almost like a gel, and it’s not at all greasy. Instead, it left my face with a rather matte feeling, which I quite enjoyed. I’ve tried a few products from the Precime brand and have yet to be disappointed. This is a new favorite for me!
RAIN ORGANICA I Am Enough Facial Oil Blend, 15 ml - Retail Value $34
This I Am Enough Facial Oil Blend from Rain Organica is a product I’ve received once before, and like before, while I won’t be using it in my daily skincare, I will indeed be hanging onto this for whenever my dry eczema patches flare up. I did find it to be instantly hydrating when applied to ultra-dry skin and along with it came absolutely zero irritation. I already have semi-oily skin that can get irritated somewhat easily. Due to this issue, I’ve never been one for oil-based products, especially when it comes to my face’s skincare routine. Now, oil on my body, I consider to be the ultimate hydration, but for my face, it’s a potential disaster. And believe me, I’ve done the research; I’m well aware that incorporating facial oils into your skincare can in fact reduce oil production. Maybe I’m just different from most because it’s the complete opposite for me. While the scent is very natural, it’s not too overpowering and seems to go away rather quickly, which I appreciate. If you’re a fan of oils or get such dry skin that only an oil can combat, this might be just the thing for you.
Verdict
This was an okay month for Nourish Beauty Box. The highlight for me was Precime’s SPF cream, which feels truly luscious on my skin. I appreciate the gel texture, and it leaves my face feeling matte rather than greasy like other sunscreens. Kaleido Cosmetics blush is a very pretty shade that works for me, and the texture is velvety-smooth. The vegan stain from Nourish Naturals is a product I’m familiar with, and while the product performs well, the color isn’t the best match for my skin tone. Lastly, the facial oil blend from Rain Organica… This is the perfect thing for me to use on my dry eczema patch, so while I won’t be using this on my face, it’ll definitely come in handy. Overall, I thought the product variation was a bit stale, but the value is definitely there.
