First Impressions
Self care is important for anyone, but I've noticed an increased need for it myself recently with the uptick in my anxiety. With our packed schedules, long soaks in the bathtub are definitely my go-to, but when time is of the essence, a hot shower can do the trick to boost my mood. That being said, when I was given the opportunity to review the Tubless Bath Bevy box, I couldn't pass it up. Reading Jessica's reviews for years, this subscription has been on my wish list forever, and now I get to see what it's all about! Read below to see what we received in the April box.
While I am still pretty new to the Bath Bevy scene, I have to say I spend my days thinking about just what the next month's box might include. I utilize hot showers often as part of my self-care, and pairing this box with that usual event has really helped my anxiety and overall mood. Packaged so lovely in a blue and white box filled with crinkle paper, tissue paper, and a sticker, we also receive an info sheet detailing all of the products included.

Atma Shower Steamers - Set of Two - Retail Value $12
Shower steamers are amazing, especially when they smell as decadent as these do! With a host of scent possibilities for this month's space theme, I personally received the "Eclipse" and the "Venus" version. Created using sodium bicarbonate, citric acid, bentonite clay, and oils, these steamers are built to last. Activated by the steam and water droplets in your shower, these steamers last far longer than any other brand I have tried, creating a relaxing, invigorating shower experience. With notes of vanilla, cinnamon, rose, jasmine, and sandalwood, the Venus steamer was my favorite, as it casts a warming spell in the bathroom steam. The Eclipse version features notes of lavender, lemongrass, and peppermint, which also created an oasis in the bathroom, but in a more expected way than the surprise of the cinnamon. Overall, these were fantastic and really made my Monday morning shower a bit more exciting than expected.
Cosmic Cupcake Handmade Soap by Two Wild Hares - Retail Value $10
Homemade soap is one of my very favorite products to shop for at our local farmers' market, and this version is just as fun! Created from olive oil, lard, coconut oil, lye, and dyes, this soap is functional as well as beautiful! Featuring notes of berries, lemon, and vanilla buttercream, this soap creates a moisturizing experience that lathers up nicely on a loofah sponge as well as by itself. The gold glitter is a perfect addition for a "space" effect. So far, the overall curation of this box is amazing!
Stargazing Body Wash - Retail Value $12
Body wash is one product my kids just can't get enough of. Purple and glitzy, this wash is gentle and smells divine. With notes of citrus, nectar, spearmint, and musk, this concoction is ultra-moisturizing while creating a nice and rich lather. Great for daily use and fun in color, this adds a lot to a shower experience, and is a really nice inclusion.
Starry Night Whipped Soap Scrub - Retail Value $15
Prior to this subscription, I had very limited experience with soap scrubs, but it has quickly become one of my very favorite inclusions. Created with sugar, this scrub is gentle and creates a luxurious feel. Featuring notes of blackberry and amber, the musky scent is top notch, and makes for a fun shower experience. I utilize this scrub on my legs before shaving, and the difference is incredibly noticeable! While I don't use this product everyday, I can tell you from experience that my skin is a lot more smooth and hydrated since I started receiving this subscription.

I have to admit, to receive candles two months in a row was very exciting for me, as I am a huge candle person. While I loved last month's floral version, these star-shaped ones take the cake. Featuring notes of Moroccan mint, violet, and sandalwood, these have a lovely warm and musky scent, and burn cleanly and evenly, all while creating a lovely glow.
Twilight Woods Body Lotion
The last item we received was a bottle of body lotion. This lotion adhered to the dark cosmic theme and featured notes of woods, sensual amber, mimosa, vanilla musk, apricot, nectar, and berry. A musky warm fragrance, this recipe was the cherry on top for my skin after a hot shower. I have become incredibly fond of the pump mechanism these bottles use, and really admire the hydrating feel that comes without being greasy.
