First Impressions
I absolutely adore felines! In my 35 (almost 36) years, I have never known life without one, so when the opportunity to review the CatLadyBox arrived, I snapped it right up. The little gal that will be helping me test out this box is my 14 year old best friend named Miley Mae. She has been with me through thick and thin, and while elderly, is still as sassy as ever. Let's dig in, shall we?!
I love kitty cats, and while I only have one precious feline, I absolutely adore this subscription. Seeing this brown cardboard box with the kitty silhouette, is a highlight of my month. Featuring black tissue paper held together by a sticker, it presents as a lovely gift that has the potential to hold anything from cat-themed jewelry, clothes, home decor, and more. If you subscribe to the Crazy CatLadyBox, you'll get a few treats for your furbaby, too.
Along with the items, this box also comes with an info sheet, featuring custom artwork on the opposing side. This month's art was created by Elizabeth Anderson, and hosts a stack of orange kitty's on a gal's head. Adorable in design, and super vibrant in color, this is a great little piece to add to your fridge or bulletin board for an extra pop of fun.
The Breakdown – What’s Inside This Crazy Cat Lady Box
Big Stretch Shirt - Listed Value $22.99
I've mentioned this before, but what first drew me to this subscription were the clothing inclusions. I work at a school where my typical daily dress includes black pants or skirts paired with fun tops and accessories, so I was really excited to receive this ultra soft, rusty orange tee. Complete with the steps of a cat stretching and the words "Big Stretch" I absolutely love the look of this shirt. The cotton material is similar to that of the softest tee, and the medium fit pretty true to size. With a sketched logo, this shirt looked really cute on it's own, but also paired nicely with a jean jacket and light scarf. Overall, this is definitely one of my favorite shirts, and I would definitely be okay with receiving more printed on this material!!
Orange Cat Bandages- Listed Value $6.99
With spring temps come skinned knees, and this month's Cat Lady Box has us covered! Including ten bandages in each of three patterns, this pack of thirty is sure to keep small wounds protected, while looking really sweet. I tested out one of the pink versions, and it adhered well and kept my shaving boo boo under wraps, even when slipping my foot in and out of a shoe. A fun inclusion that is not only cute, but useful as well!
Orange Cat Tumbler Listed Value $22.99
The next item we received was this orange cat insulated tumbler. Made from stainless steel, this 17 ounce tumbler features a variety of orange cats on the outside, along with a stainless steel screw on lid and straw. While I drink a lot of coffee out of a stainless steel coffee tumbler, I haven't splurged on a stainless steel cup for water, as I didn't know how much I'd actually use it. Since receiving this cup, I haven't been in my car without it! I love the fact that it keeps my water cold throughout the day and that it doesn't hold weird smells like plastic does. Coordinating perfectly with the shirt is an extra bonus, and gives a nod to one of my childhood cats named "Cordell."
Silly Goose Catnip Toy - Listed Value $5.99
Because Miley has a permanent RBF, she doesn't looked thrilled in any of the pictures she takes, but she really was happy! Purring like crazy, she rolled around on this silly goose toy for quite a while before she laid down to give herself a bath. Crinkly, and feathery, this was a really cute toy that she seemed to appreciate, though didn't exactly chase.
Crazy Traffic Cone Catnip Toy - Listed Value $5.99
Coordinating well with the orange cat theme, this little orange traffic cone fit right in. With an embroidered face and filled with catnip, Miley enjoyed sniffing at it and batting it around, before finding her spot on the poof to take a nap. At 14, Miley doesn't play like she did when she was a kitten, but I think she still appreciates the gifts. What a pretty girl!

Key Takeaways
I've been reviewing the CatLadyBox for a few months now, and I have to say, this is a box I truly look forward to receiving. Featuring useful items that are not only high-quality in design, but are wearable and cute, I am always left with a smile after opening this box. This month's theme was one of my favorites, and I loved all of the lifestyle items they included. Between the items for me and the cat toys, I thought the "Orange Cats" theme was done very well, and I'm already looking forward to May's box. If fun cat-themed items are your jam, and you are looking for a monthly gift to yourself and your feline friend, this subscription is the one for you!
