First Impressions

Self care is important for everyone, but I've noticed an increased need for it myself recently with the uptick in my anxiety. With our packed schedules, long soaks in the bathtub are definitely my go-to, but when time is of the essence, a hot shower can do the trick to boost my mood. That being said, when I was given the opportunity to review the Tubless Bath Bevy box, I couldn't pass it up. Reading Jessica's reviews for years, this subscription has been on my wish list forever, and now I get to see what it's all about! Read below to see what we received in the May box.

I have to say, each and every month I look forward to receiving this beautiful blue and white box in the mail. Packaged so delicately with crinkle paper, tissue paper, and a sticker to top it off, this truly is a presented like a gift. This box is heavy! It's packed with goodies, and includes an info sheet detailing all of the products included.

Lemon Verbena Shower Fizzers - Set of Two - Retail Value $12

While we have received shower steamers in past boxes, these shower fizzers are new. Packaged in foil and stored in a twist cap container, we were given enough for 6 shower sessions. Similar to a bath bomb in theory, these don't dissolve as fast, and are packed with fragrance. With a citrus burst of lemon, these cubes smell ahh-mazing - think lemon shortbread Girl Scout cookies on steroids!! Yum!!!

Sweet Shop Handmade Soap by Two Wild Hares - Retail Value $10

Homemade soap is so much more fun than the store bought versions, so I look forward to this inclusion each month. Created from olive oil, lard, coconut oil, lye, and dyes, this soap not only smells amazing, but looks beautiful as well. Featuring notes of cherry and raspberry with a touch of rock candy, this soap literally smells like a candy shop in the sweetest and most delicious way possible.

Boujee Body Wash - Retail Value $12

Body wash is a product that my kids go through quite quickly, so I am happy to receive a new fragrance each month. For May we received a luxurious blend of bergamot, lemon, orange, matcha, black tea, and sandalwood. A little more muted in smell than I was expecting, this had a lovely blend of fragrance that created a rich lather. With its golden color, the presentation was pretty, and my kids enjoyed the summery scent.

Strawberry Cupcake Whipped Soap Scrub - Retail Value $15

Strawberry is one of those flavors that is always a winner when it comes to shower time, and this soap scrub is no exception. Featuring a bright pastel pink color and grittiness perfect for exfoliation, this scrub works wonders. It is especially helpful when used to soften and exfoliate the skin before shaving my legs, creating a smooth, soft canvas. With a light strawberry scent, this truly does smell like a strawberry cupcake, and is really fun to use.

Salt Water Taffy Whipped Soap - Retail Value $15

Another favorite of ours is the Bath Bevy whipped soap. This soap is light and fluffy, and super fun to apply. The scent this month is "Salt Water Taffy" and it truly is reminiscent of the actual candy itself. With a ultra sweet and fruity aroma, this turns your bathroom into a Willy Wonka oasis. Perfect for using to shave or just to wash, this leaves skin clean, soft, and moisturized without a greasy or sticky feel.

Almond Macaron Soy Candle by No Ennui - Retail Value $10

While baths and showers are uber relaxing all on their own, a candle takes it to the next level. This month we received a tin soy candle with the cutest plastic macaron embellishment on top! With a cotton wick and phthalate free fragrance, this almond macaron candle literally smells like a baked good. A simple inclusion to a great box, this (and the included matches) added a soothing component that created an even more relaxing experience.

Bath and shower goodies are expensive, and with two water-loving boys in our house, prior to this subscription, I couldn't keep up! This subscription has changed our shower experiences, and turned it into a fun, relaxing part of our evening. The "Treat Yourself" theme this month was captured perfectly by the citrus, candy, and baked good flavors we discovered, and it has created multiple self-care evenings throughout the month.
