For AU$99.95 ($68 USD), you'll receive almost AU$300 ($198.13 USD) of Australian and New Zealand wellness products, the 20-page wellness Retreat Guide, playlists, rituals, and more. Items range from home goods, health supplements, beauty products, and accessories, plus other fun finds.
This review is of the Retreat Yourself Winter 2024 "Rest & Relax" box.

First Impressions
My box arrived bursting with so many new and cool finds; everything was packaged securely and there was a QR code under the lid that took me to a relaxing playlist to help set the mood.
This leaflet has some of the answers to the questions you might have about the products included in this quarter's box. I like that they include a brand bio for each item so you can learn more about these local, conscious AU & NZ brands.
Now, on to the items!
Retreat Yourself - The Slow Down Mug - Retail Value AU$34.95 ($23.08 USD)
Starting off strong with a pretty speckled mug that feels great in your hand. The glazed ceramic is weighty and seems high-quality. I love the message to 'Slow Down' on the bottom of the mug, but I guess it's more a message for whoever happens to be sitting across from you, as it's on the outside of the mug.
MooGoo Skin Care - Full Cream Moisturiser - Retail Value AU$14.90 ($9.84 USD)
MooGoo is a cult Aussie brand, known for its gentle, natural skincare products that cater to all skin types and ages. I was excited to give this cream a try and I was not disappointed. The texture is super thick and ultra-hydrating but it absorbed into my skin easily and has a subtle, sweet scent that reminded me of the White Rabbit Candy I loved eating as a kid. I was a bit wary about using it for my face as well, but it actually works really well and leaves my skin feeling so soft.
Antipodes - Flora Probiotic Skin-Rescue Hyaluronic Mask - Retail Value AU$50.00 ($33.02 USD)
This is the third product I've tried from Antipodes thanks to the RY box, and it's another winner. A hydrating vegan mask designed to keep skin calm, hydrated and blemish-free, it features Kalibiome-sensitive probiotics to strengthen the skin barrier, plant hyaluronic acid to protect against moisture loss and harakeke flax to soothe the skin. I've had this annoying milium on my right cheek for the longest time, and it disappeared after I used this mask, so I'm super stoked to keep using it.
Retreat Yourself - ‘Earth’ Essential Oil - Retail Value AU$34.95 ($23.08 USD)
I don't know all that much about essential oils, but I'm interested in learning more about the uses and benefits of different oils. Mostly, I appreciate the lovely scents they impart that aren't irritating to me like artificial fragrances can be. This 'Earth' Oil blend is designed to be grounding and includes palmarosa, mandarin, patchouli and sweet fennel oils. I made my own room spray, per RY's suggestion, and added some of the oil to a small spray bottle with water.
Love Beauty Foods - Good Morning Face Oil - Retail Value AU$39.95 ($26.38 USD)
I was really excited to receive this face oil because I enjoyed the body oil from this brand that we received in last season's RY Box. I wasn't in love with the body oil straight away, but after using it for a while, I couldn't get enough of the soothing scent and hydration it provided. This face oil also smells lovely and leaves my skin feeling nourished and hydrated. I'm using it for my gua sha routine and I'm loving it.
Prana Chai - Original Chai Blend 100g - Retail Value AU$12.00 ($7.93 USD)
There’s a chai latte stall at our local markets that’s quite popular, and while I enjoy getting this once a week treat, I’ve never tried making it at home. But using this blend was super easy and incredibly yummy. It’s rich and aromatic with premium black tea, whole spices, ginger and 100% Australian pure honey to bind everything together.
Georgie Skin x Retreat Yourself - Plush Fleece Headband - Retail Value AU$14.95 ($9.87 USD)
I have a pretty big head. Hats never fit me. So I was kinda expecting not to be able to use this headband since the listing described it as "snug". But to my surprise, it's a comfy fit that also holds tight. I've been using it everyday since when washing my face and applying my skincare, and it's not only convenient but also looks cute.
Empire Australia - Therapeutic Hand Wash 500ml - Retail Value AU$12.95 ($8.55 USD)
I can always use more handwash, and this one did not disappoint. Created with a blend of Mandarin and Bergamot essential oils, it lathers up really nicely and leaves my hands feeling clean and refreshed without drying them out. The gorgeous scent lingers just the right amount and I love how the white floral bottle looks on my bathroom sink.
Bennetto - 100g Chocolate Block - Retail Value AU$8.49 ($5.61 USD)
I love having a piece of dark chocolate after dinner, and this decadent bar with crunchy toasted hazelnuts is a delight. This organic and Fairtrade-certified chocolate not only tastes amazing but also supports sustainable practices and fair wages for farmers. It's a guilt-free indulgence I look forward to every evening.
Tilley Soaps - Classic White Bath Bomb - Retail Value AU$8.95 ($5.91 USD)
I don’t make the time to have a bath too often but I’m always glad when I do. Having this divine-smelling, Peony Rose-scented bath bomb definitely elevated the experience. Seriously, it smells amazing and the delightful fizz adds a touch of luxury to bath time.
Edenvale - Alcohol Removed Sparkling Rosé - Retail Value AU$6.00 ($3.96 USD)
I'm not sure if I'd be able to tell this was alcohol-free in a blind taste with its rich fruit flavors and complex aromas. Made from the best-selected South Eastern Australian wine grapes, this beverages goes through a special de-alcoholization precess that gently removes the alcoholic content while retaining the wine’s original flavors.
I Am Grounded - Caffeinated Energy Cocoa, Almond & Coffee Fruit Bar - Retail Value AU$4.00 ($2.64 USD)
As someone who can’t have coffee after noon because it disrupts my sleep, I found these bars to be a great alternative. With a gentle 40mg of caffeine, it’s just enough to give me a boost without keeping me up at night. The flavor is great – there’s no coffee taste, just a wonderful mix of chocolate, fruit, nuts.

Verdict
The Retreat Yourself boxes are put together so well, with each item picked to help with your health and well-being. You get a mix of nourishing snacks, skincare, lifestyle items, and mindfulness resources. It's like getting your own personal wellness retreat delivered to your door, and this season's box was just as awesome as ever. My favorite item this month is the Antipodes mask, followed closely by the MooGoo moisturizer. It's making me want to check out more products from these two brands.
