First Impressions
Each month, Ipsy subscribers get a makeup bag in addition to their items. This month’s theme is ‘‘Passport to Glow.’’ Upon opening the envelope, I immediately noticed that they’d repurposed one of the Ipsy Refreshments drawstring bags. While I do prefer a zipper, let’s dive in and see what treasures await in this month’s bag!

The TARTE Fake Awake Eye Highlight in Nude is a delightful addition to my makeup bag, even though I usually prefer a full-sized product with a more substantial grip. Seeing Tarte’s sleek packaging always excites me, and this mini highlighter certainly didn’t disappoint in that regard. It's perfect for those early mornings or late nights when my eyes need a little extra boost. However, the small sample size leaves me wanting more, and the Nude shade, while designed to brighten, might be a touch too bright for my complexion, sometimes making it look a bit unnatural. Overall, it’s a cute and effective product, but I wish it came in a more generous size and a slightly more versatile color.

I'm absolutely thrilled with the Protect Your Light SPF 30 Daily Moisturizer from Keys Soulcare. Having had great experiences with this brand in the past, I was eager to try this product, and it exceeded my expectations. The luxurious texture is delightful, making it a pleasure to apply every morning. As someone who prioritizes daily sunscreen, I was relieved to find that this formula leaves no white cast whatsoever. It's packed with squalene and niacinamide, offering both hydration and protection, which is a fantastic combination for my sensitive skin. The moisturizer absorbs quickly, leaving my skin feeling fresh and non-greasy. This has definitely become a staple in my skincare routine!

Wow. I’m not usually the biggest fan of eyeshadow, but the Night and Day Eyeshadow Palette from Lithe Beauty has truly won me over. This palette is incredibly versatile, making it the most practical one I own. With two shimmer shades and four mattes, it’s perfect for creating a natural, everyday look no matter the season. The texture of these eyeshadows is impressive; they swatch beautifully and feel weightless on the eyelids. Whether I’m going for a fancy evening look or a casual daytime style, this palette has me covered. It’s an essential everyday basic that I’m thrilled to have in my arsenal.

The Verdict
This was a great month for Ipsy Glam Bag! The highlight for me was the Keys Soulcare SPF moisturizer, which hydrates and protects the skin simultaneously without any breakouts, thanks to its non-greasy formula. Real Chemistry’s cleanser has my favorite texture, allowing for a gentle cleanse that leaves my skin feeling refreshed, hydrated, and clean but never stripped. The eyeshadow palette from Lithe Beauty has become a fast favorite of mine, with a variety of shimmers and mattes that make achieving the perfect look for any occasion effortless. Tarte’s eye highlight is a unique product that gives a brightening boost for tired eyes with its sleek, travel-friendly design; it really comes in clutch for those early mornings. Lastly, the dual-ended eyeshadow brush from NEEN is a win for me, combining style and functionality for easy application of contour, base, or otherwise. Overall, I thought this was an awesome bag. The blend of products delivered on my preferences, and the value is certainly there.
