First Impressions

Summer is here even if the temps don't show it! Here in northern Minnesota, we hit a low of 34 degrees last night, and it's the last day of June. I think that breaks some sort of record! Vellabox encompasses all things warm, cozy, and relaxing with this month's box, and that is exactly what I needed. Paired with a surprise gift and Spotify playlist, you've got yourself an entire experience rather than just a box!
What's Inside the Box

July is the year's biggest month for me because it is packed full of celebrations. While fun, it gets a little stressful, and I need quiet evening time to unwind. Laying on the couch, binge watching "Bridgerton" with the slow flicker of a candle is just what I need after a long day, and this month's candle scent sets the perfect tone in my living room. With notes of freesia, eucalyptus, and sea salt, the scent throw is strong, but not overly so, like some big box brands (which actually get too strong). While the eucalyptus notes are definitely the strongest, I do catch the whiff of freesia, and it offers the warmest, coziest smell. Created with premium fragrances, oils and soy wax, I was very impressed with the clean burn, and the warm, stress-reducing scent. Poured in a pretty clear container with a white and black label, it's chic and perfect for any decor. With 80 hours of burn time, I can count on this candle to create ambiance each and every night, and I love it!
Ana Bella is the creator of this month's wax, and this company was founded in 2015. Tired of big-box store options, containing toxic ingredients, Arianna made a commitment to create simple soy candles with 100% soy wax, cotton wicks, and clean-certified fragrance oils. While this is my first experience with her candles, I can say she is doing a fantastic job!

Matchbox Patterned Tote - Retail Value $12
One can never have too many tote bags, especially when a nearby town has recently added a tax to plastic bags. While smaller than some of the bags I use, this matchbox patterned bag is adorable and well made. The canvas is decently thick, and it can hold quite a bit of weight. A great way to show appreciation of candles and do a little advertising for Vellabox, this was a fun and useful inclusion that is not only functional, but versatile.

Vellabox is a great subscription, and one I truly look forward to receiving each and every month. I literally burn candles every single night as part of my relaxation routine, and these natural candles are ones I feel good about burning. Since starting this subscription, I have stopped burning big-box store candles, and have replaced them with these, which has made a huge impact on our furnace filter! The combination of the eucalyptus candle, tote bag, and Spotify playlist continues to leave me impressed. I already can't wait to see what's in store for August!
