First Impressions
Bath stuff + Unicorns?! I have to say, when I received this month's Bath Bevy, I squealed! After a crazy busy July, I am determined to have a restful and relaxing August, and this box is here to help. Featuring ultra-luxurious and relaxing bath items, I WILL stretch the rest of this time-off out! While it may not work the way I hope, this subscription is still one of my absolute favorites - read below to see why!
Unlike some subscription boxes, this blue and white box presents beautifully. Not only does this box have some serious weight to it, but it also boasts the CUTEST unicorn tissue paper, a sweetly placed sticker, and crinkle paper! These small but thoughtful touches make this truly feel like I am opening a gift, which makes it that much more fun! Besides the items, Bath Bevy also includes an info sheet detailing all of the products included.

Baby Unicorn Bath Bomb - Retail Value $8
Bath bombs are the bomb, so of course this guy was a hit. Fitting in perfect with the "Magic Unicorn" theme, this adorable pink bath bomb is embossed with the sweetest little baby unicorn face. Adorned with cartoon eyes, this foamer smells identical to a vanilla birthday cake. Featuring notes of creme fraiche, lemon, butter, honey, and buttercream, it made for a deliciously scented bath. While the pigment was a bit lighter than I was anticipating, this did create a very relaxing bath, creating extra silky skin. A definite hit to start off this month's box, Charlie loved the change of pace with this shaped bath bomb!
Cloud 9 Bath Bomb - Retail Value $8
The second bath bomb we received was also shaped, this time looking like a cloud. Scented like blueberry, raspberry, grape, strawberry, and peach, this hit the fruit jackpot, and could be detected right through the packaging. Charlie earned first choice this month and picked the unicorn, so Hank ended up with this bath bomb. Was he sad? Absolutely not! While he hasn't had time to try this guy out, he liked the fruity scent this one provided more than the unicorn, and can't wait to carve out a little relaxation time to try this thing out.
Unicorn Wishes Bubble Bath - Retail Value $12
Honestly, my kids are just as excited to open the Bath Bevy box as I am, and while they tend to gravitate towards the bath bombs, I like myself some good old fashioned bubbles. Contained in a fun, champagne style bottle, this snazzy liquid smells like pomegranate, blood orange, nectarine, lemon zest, and white vetiver and creates a mound of white fluffy bubbles. Yay for unicorn wishes!
Unicorn Spell Fizzy Bath Dust - Retail Value $10
Last month we were given the opportunity to try bubble salt, and Charlie loved it. This month we received bath dust, and because Charlie was so excited to try his bath bomb, I was the first user of this magical powder. As you can see from the packaging, the top layer was an orangish/yellow, followed by a glittery purple. I went a little heavy on the addition, and while it started out pretty, once the purple and yellow mixed, it looked like I was soaking in a tub of swamp water. Fizzing like a bath bomb, it did create slight bubbles, and smelled like fruit. While I didn't mind the sight, my husband saw it draining and was disgusted. LOL!
Magic Unicorn Whipped Soap - Retail Value $15
Whipped soap is always a hit, and it was a welcome inclusion as we haven't received a container in a little while. Scented like "Tropical Hawaii" (Hank's words, not mine) it does have some subtle, yet delicious fruit notes to it, with a fun flare of cotton candy. Great for cleaning skin, this is a great pre-shave product, or for regular use. My kids love the fluffy texture and come out of the tub smelling sweet and clean! Definitely a win for a boy mom like myself!
Unicorn Bath Bomb
The last item we received was this really pretty Unicorn bath bomb. When the kids were picking, I may or may not have tucked this away for myself, and was very thankful I did! Created by Whipped Up Wonderful, this oval shaped bomb featured a cranberry and clove fragrance with soft and subtle pastel colors. Flecked with gold glitter, I knew this was going to be amazing, because it advertised that it was filled with a mystery color! Starting out slow, this created a huge amount of white foam, followed by some pastels, but then the real magic started happening - check out that brilliant purple, followed by a deep magenta! This bomb not only smelled and looked amazing, but it left my skin so amazingly silky that I didn't even need to apply lotion! Yay!
