First Impressions
Each month, Ipsy subscribers get a makeup bag in addition to their items. This month’s theme is ‘The Beauty Olympics.’ The overall essence is perfectly captured in the makeup bag’s design. It has a lovely lilac hue with just the right touch of sparkle. The bold ‘GLAM’ in college letters adds a fun twist too. Let's see what awaits us this month!
Included is a product card that features a list of the products and beauty tips.
Now, on to the items!
BENEFIT The POREfessional Matte Primer, 3 ml - Estimated Retail Value $4.77
I’m always happy to see a product from Benefit in my subscription boxes, and The POREfessional Matte Primer is a definite winner. Over the years, this primer has become my go-to for good reason. It has a creamy yet incredibly lightweight texture that feels hydrating as it goes on but quickly dries down, leaving my skin with a silky-smooth canvas for makeup. Unlike other primers that can feel sticky, this one is refreshingly comfortable. What really sets it apart is how effectively it blurs pores, giving my skin a flawless matte look. Plus, the addition of niacinamide is a major bonus; it helps keep my skin moisturized while keeping shine at bay for longer than other primers I’ve tried. If you're looking for a reliable primer that delivers both smoothness and oil control, this one’s a must-try.
TONYMOLY I’m Red Wine Pore Tightening Mask, 15 ml - Estimated Retail Value $2.25
I love TonyMoly! Their products have never disappointed me, and the I’m Red Wine Pore Tightening Mask is another hit in my book. From the adorable packaging to the delightful fruity scent, this wash-off mask is a treat for the senses. I was pleasantly surprised by how little product I needed when first applying this; a little goes a long way. Despite being a tightening mask, it doesn’t leave that uncomfortable tightness I’ve experienced with other masks. Instead, my skin was left feeling wonderfully nourished after rinsing off. If you’re a fan of wash-off masks, I’d recommend giving this one a try.
FEMMUE Ideal Intense Eye Cream, 5 g - Estimated Retail Value $22.50
Eye creams are an essential part of my skincare routine, and the Femmue Ideal Intense Eye Cream is by far one of the most luxurious I’ve tried. From the moment I saw the stunning, clean packaging, I was intrigued. What really impressed me is the water-based formula, which is perfect for my sensitive under-eye area. Unlike thicker creams that can feel heavy and clog my pores, this one is lightweight yet deeply hydrating, thanks to the hyaluronic acid. My skin drinks it up without any issues. While I could do without the scent (that's more of a personal preference), it didn’t cause any irritation, which is what really matters. For a pretty penny, this eye cream delivers on hydration and luxury.
STONE STREET SOAPHOUSE Hay Ho! Wholesome Body Souffle, 30 ml - Retail Value $4.08
Stone Street Soaphouse’s Hay Ho! Wholesome Body Souffle initially had me second-guessing due to its unexpectedly powerful floral scent, but I'm glad I gave it a chance. The brand’s minimalistic, spa-like packaging immediately caught my eye, and the rich, nourishing formula inside didn’t disappoint. Despite my initial hesitation, I found that the scent mellows out nicely once applied, fading quickly without lingering too long. What really stands out is the deep hydration it provides without any greasy or heavy residue, leaving my skin smooth and soft to the touch. It’s a perfect blend of luxury and practicality, delivering lasting moisture and comfort without irritation. If you like body souffles, this might be a keeper!
BEAUTY VAULTE Regal Palette, 10.8 g - Estimated Retail Value - $23.00
I’m not the biggest fan of applying eyeshadow, but the Regal Palette from Beauty Vaulte has won me over. With two shimmers and four mattes, this palette makes creating a natural everyday look a breeze. I was blown away by the texture of these shadows; they swatch like a dream and feel so light on my lids that I forgot I was wearing some. The shades complement my skin tone well, which is a huge plus, and the versatility is unmatched. Whether I’m going for a dressed-up look or keeping it simple, this palette has got me covered. I’m officially a fan.

The Verdict
This was a great month for Ipsy Glam Bag! The major highlight for me personally was the TonyMoly pore tightening mask that tightens pores without discomfort and leaves the skin feeling nourished. Benefit’s matte primer was another win, effectively blurring pores and controlling oil for a smooth application every time. I was pleasantly surprised by Femmue’s eye cream, which hydrates my delicate under-eye area without any irritation. Stone Street Soaphouse’s body souffle offers lasting moisture minus a greasy feel, and its fragrance dissipates quickly. Lastly, Beauty Vaulte’s eyeshadow palette features a nice blend of shimmer and mattes that complement various skin tones and make it simple to create any look. Overall, I really thought this was an awesome bag. The product variation was heavy on skincare, which is my preference, and the value is there.
