First Impressions
While I do love summer, autumn is definitely where it is at when it comes to scents, so September was definitely a win! When I received this month's Bath Bevy, and discovered the fantastically fall aromas, I squealed! With a wild start to September, I am already in need of some de-stressing, and this box is here to help. Featuring ultra-luxurious and relaxing bath items, this box is definitely one of my absolute favorites - read below to see why!
Unlike some subscription boxes, this blue and white box presents beautifully. Not only does this box have some serious weight to it, but it also boasts theme coordinating tissue paper, a sweetly placed sticker, and crinkle paper! These small but thoughtful touches make this truly feel like I am opening a gift, which makes it that much more fun! Besides the items, Bath Bevy also includes an info sheet detailing all of the products included.

Apple Cinnamon Bath Bomb - Retail Value $8
Here at our house, we love bath bombs. Adding one of these mega bombs to the tub is a special treat, and this apple cinnamon version did not leave us disappointed. Quite large and featuring the cutest silver sprinkles, this bath bomb is utterly gorgeous and seriously smells like fresh apple pie! Leaving the water a blood red color, my husband was a little disgusted, but my son was thrilled! While I wanted to try this bath bomb out myself, Charlie talked me into letting him have it and he really did enjoy it. The only down side of this fizzy is that it did stain the sides of our tub a little bit. Easy enough to scrub off, it wasn't a huge deal as the magnificent smell more than made up for it!
Oatmeal, Milk, & Honey Bath Bomb - Retail Value $8
The second bath bomb I received was a lot less colorful than the first, but created a creamy, silky bath like no other! Utilizing honey, creamy milk, and warm oats, the scent of this bomb was a lot less dramatic than the apple cinnamon version, but was still much appreciated. With flecks of oats packed into this fizzy, a warm, soothing oasis was created. Truly, my skin was left extra soft and silky, and the subtle scent was a perfect addition to a pretty stressful Thursday night!
Fall Fig Bath and Body Oil - Retail Value $12
Bath and body oil is kind of hit or miss for me just because it can be a little messy to use. That being said, if the scent is right, you can bet I will be as slippery as a seal until the container runs out! With "Sweater Weather" as this month's theme, I was excited to check out this oil, but was a little disappointed when "Fig" was one of the main components. Don't get me wrong, I'm not sure what I have against figs, but they just don't sound like a great fall fragrance. Anyways, I was soooo incredibly wrong. The Fall Fig scent is literally my favorite bath and body oil scent EVER. Featuring notes of apple, lemon, ginger, fig, caramel, and cinnamon, this oil has the perfect balance of sweet and savory and I want to just swim in it! Helping create super sleek and soft skin, I have been applying this multiple times a day and cannot get enough. Seriously, this stuff is amazing!
Sweater Weather Whipped Soap Scrub - Retail Value $15
Another one of my favorites is the whipped soap scrub. This scrub not only cleans skin, but exfoliates and refreshes it too. Scented with notes of toasted marshmallow, fresh green apple, vanilla, smoky woods, and amber, this aroma is another winner. With a light orange color, it gives the perfect nod to fall, and my bathroom literally smells like an apple orchard!
Cider Bubble Salt by Two Wild Hares - Retail Value $10
If you take as many baths as our family does, you would go broke buying bath bombs for every wash. That is one of the reasons why I love the bubble salt packages that Bath Bevy sends. This package is decent in size and is chock full of bubble salt. This salt is similar to bath bomb dust, and can be poured into a bath for a few bubbles, or for a lot of bubbles. Not only does it create a nice foam, but it also tints the water pink and smells like apple cider. Have I ever relaxed in a tub full of cider before? No, but I can say after immersing myself in this amazing scent, I definitely wouldn't mind!
Caramel Apple Epsom Salt - Retail Value $16
When I mentioned this box was heavy, I wasn't kidding, and it was partially due to this large bag of caramel apple epsom salt. This last item we received is scented just like the delicious fall treat, and is the perfect addition to your bath after a long, strenuous day. My son runs cross country and loves to soak in this concoction after practice because it feels so darn good. The package size is impressive and offers enough salt for multiple baths. Yay!
