First Impressions
The monthly Beauty Heroes delivery comes in a white box with a red-dotted sticker sealing it. Inside, our products of the month fit perfectly.
Who else is a LILFOX superfan? I know you're out there, because it's one of Beauty Heroes' most requested brands, which is why it was selected as one of the 10-year anniversary celebratory boxes. My first LILFOX exposure was in September 2023, but longer-term subscribers will have experienced them in June 2022 and June 2019 as well.
I love when Beauty Heroes includes this One Way to Play card. It suggests how you could work your new products in to a skincare routine, sometimes featuring products we've received in previous boxes, and sometimes using a full curation of products from the feature brand. This month that Venn diagram overlaps so it's both! Unfortunately my previous LILFOX delivery from 2023 is long gone—they were my favorite products I've ever tried, so I blew through them without really rotating other products in, and used every last drop.

LILFOX MOSS Hydra-Bright Mask, 1.7 oz - Retail Value $105
I have a love-hate relationship with masks—sort of because I can't sit still for 15 minutes, sort of because I don't always love the way they feel on my face. But I trust in LILFOX so I went into this one with high hopes...and it delivered. The super-smooth, tangibly hydrating, blissfully verdant-smelling mask spreads on with soothing, cooling ease and its Irish Moss "dense concentrations of essential minerals, amino acids, peptides, and vitamins that balance oil production, boost hydration and eliminate buildup." When your 10-20 minutes of masking are over, it rinses off leaving skin feeling refreshed and hydrated. Sometimes after rinsing a mask off I feel like my face is too buffed and needs more moisture, but that's not the case here. It's bliss.
LILFOX AMAZON AFTER DARK Cleansing Balm, 1.7 oz - Retail Value $80
I've come to appreciate a balm for cleansing more than any other consistency. It's so satisfying to have some substance to rub in. For this one, "a blend of four exotic butters and oils - maracuja, murumuru, cupuaçu and babassu - are rich in essential fatty acids and omega's that provide nourishing emollient properties and antioxidant protection while dissolving impurities within pores." It's truly refreshing, and the scent is a fruity burst but with jungle-y depth.
Verdict
Beauty Heroes costs $58.95. This box contained two superstar beauty products that add up to a retail value of $185. Stellar. In addition to the value, the earthy experience of using LILFOX's aromatic and highly effective products is just so special. Nothing matches it!
