CatLadyBox is a monthly subscription box for cat ladies (or anyone who is crazy about cats)! The $34.99 per month CatLadyBox has 2-3 cat-themed items – wearables, items for the home, books, etc., while the $39.99 per month Crazy CatLadyBox contains everything from the CatLadyBox plus a few items just for cats.

This is a review of the Crazy CatLadyBox.

First Impressions

I absolutely adore kitty cats! In my 36 years, I have never known life without one, so when the opportunity to review the CatLadyBox arrived, I snapped it right up. The little gal that will be helping me test out this box is my 15 year old best friend named Miley Mae. She has been with me through thick and thin, and while elderly, is still as sassy as ever. Let's dig in, shall we?!

Although I love most animals, cats are where it's at for me! I only have one precious feline, but I absolutely adore this subscription. Seeing this brown cardboard box with the kitty silhouette, is a highlight of my month. Packaged in black tissue paper held together by a sticker, it presents as a lovely gift that has the potential to hold anything from cat-themed jewelry, clothes, home decor, and more. If you subscribe to the Crazy CatLadyBox, you'll get a few treats for your furbaby, too.

Along with the items, this box also comes with an info sheet, featuring custom artwork on the opposing side. This month's art was created by Leeza Hernandez and features the coolest black cat art among bright yellow and pink foliage. I really enjoy this inclusion because though it is just a content card, the artwork is great for adding to your fridge or bulletin board as an extra pop of fun!

The Breakdown – What’s Inside This Crazy Cat Lady Box

Purrin' Patch Tee - Listed Value $22.99

Schools here, and I love pairing fun tees with black pants for daily wear. This month's tee was the perfect nod to fall with an old fashioned truck filled with pumpkins and a black kitty. "Purrin' Patch Est. 2015" "Apurrle Cider * Purrmkin Pie * Caramel Apples * Zoomie Races * Hayrides * Catnip Garden" are the quotes featured on this tee which fit the months theme perfectly all while incorporating all the best cat things. Tan with orange and black accents, this shirt is ultra soft and comfy. The medium size seems a little more fitted than previous months, but still fits nicely. And like all of the tees I have received from the Cat Lady Box, it washes and dries beautifully, never shrinking, and always looking brand new! I can't wait to wear this to school in the upcoming weeks.

Cat Welcome Mat - Listed Value $19.99

I have to say, I'm quite impressed that they fit a welcome mat into this month's box, and an outdoor safe one to boot! 23.5" X 15.5" in size, this is a great size for an entryway, which is where I initially placed it, but worked even better on my front steps. Simplistic in design with a tan felty feel, it has a rubber back to prevent slippage, and the cutest cat silhouette! After a night outside, the creases did disappear, and it makes for a nice place to wipe your shoes!

Meow & Go Tote - Listed Value $9.99

The next item we received was a tote bag. While a handy option, I was a little disappointed just because we received a tote bag last month. This particular version is smaller than last month's and folds into itself for easy storage, but is a tote bag nonetheless. With a slippery fabric filled with varying kitty cats, it is real cute and matches some of the hues of orange the shirt debuts which was a bonus. This week I used it to tote extra water and snacks to baseball and cross country, and was admittedly happy to have it, but would love to see more variety in the upcoming months.

Cat Cookie Cutter - Listed Value $5.99

Cats are definitely where it's at for me - especially after seeing what our dog did to my flower bed this morning... GRRR!! Anyways - you can bet I will be making some cat-shaped sugar cookies with this cute cookie cutter to show my appreciation to Ms. Miley for NOT destroying my landscaping! Simplistic in design, these would be super cute to decorate, especially for Halloween. While I don't think I will have time for an elaborate cookie making/decorating session until baseball and cross country are over, I have it set in my mind that I'm going to make these before Halloween!

Meowy Maple Leaf Catnip Toy - Listed Value $5.99

Miley isn't as fond of toys as I'd like her to be so she wasn't that excited about receiving this left shaped toy, but she did end up snuggling on it. At her age, catnip doesn't seem to make her go crazy, but tires her out. The toy itself has 5 points and is made of a soft, slightly silky fabric that has a bunch of really pretty leaves on it. Filled with a mix of stuffing and catnip, it was soft and made for a great Miley pillow.

Purrin' Spice Candle Catnip Toy - Listed Value $5.99

This toy was a bit harder for Miley to snuggle on, and sort of went to the wayside. I instead used it to tickle my kids' noses and play inside catch. Meant to look like a pumpkin spice candle, we thought it looked more like a marshmallow on fire. Either way, it was a cute little inclusion that ended up being more fun for us humans than for the intended cat.
