First Impressions

Halloween is right around the corner and I think I am finally ready for it! With unseasonably warm temps, we have just finished cleaning up our garden and getting things tucked away for winter. Corn stalk and pumpkin decor has been scattered throughout our yard and home and we are ready for Hank's last year of Trick-or-Treating! To celebrate this spooky season, Bath Bevy showed up a couple weeks prior to help get us in the mood for this fun and candy-filled holiday! Featuring ultra-luxurious and relaxing bath items, this box is definitely one of my absolute favorites - read below to see why!

Unlike some subscription boxes, this blue and white box presents beautifully. Not only does this box have some serious weight to it, but it also boasts theme coordinating tissue paper, a sweetly placed sticker, and crinkle paper! These small but thoughtful touches make this truly feel like I am opening a gift, which makes it that much more fun! Besides the items, Bath Bevy also includes an info sheet detailing all of the products included.

Bath Bevy "I Put a Spell on You” October 2024 Review

Spooky "Hocus Pocus" Epsom Salt - Retail Value $16

We are all about Epsom Salt Soaks in this house, so receiving this Hocus Pocus scented version was definitely a win for us. The therapeutic properties of Epsom salt aid in detoxifying the body, making it an ideal choice for a luxurious, restorative bath experience, and when it turns the bath water this lovely lavender color, it only adds to that experience! Scented with notes of brown sugar and fig, this salt has a sweet yet savory scent that truly allows you to unwind and recharge. Overall, we love the inclusion of resealable products like this because it allows us to have spa-like soaks multiple times per month!

Spooky "Bat Attitude" Bath Bomb - Retail Value $8

The second product we received was this beautiful bath bomb. I goofed and forgot to take photos of the packaging, which was a white cardboard box filled with black crinkle paper, but you can see just how jumbo this bomb is! Large in size, this sparkly purple bath bomb takes up my entire palm, and creates the most fun foaming adventure I've seen! Literally erupting out of the water, the white foam subsides and a deep grape color emerges for a wine-like soak scented with notes of citrus, floral, and sandalwood. Honestly, I was a little concerned this dark hue might stain my tub, but it washed away immaculately.

Bitten Bubble Bath - Retail Value $12

Bubble bath is always a welcome treat, and this month's "Bitten" version was so much fun! Packaged in a plastic tall necked bottle, the spooky decal really gives this pinkish-red bubble bath a bloody look. Created with notes of fruit and vanilla, this has a fun scent that my boys loved soaking in. Creating a decent amount of bubbles, this of course wasn't as fun as the purple bath bomb, but still a relaxing evening of bath time that can be used multiple times throughout the month.

Alchemy Fizzy Bath Dust by Two Wild Hares - Retail Value $10

This Bubble Bath product truly takes bath time to the next level! While the bath dust had a nice touch, the vibrant water color it creates is unbeatable. With earthy notes of vanilla, teakwood, and mahogany, it adds a rich, spooky vibe that sets it apart from the other items in the box. The unique blend transforms the water into a striking swamp green as black and orange swirl together, much to the delight of my kids. At ages 9 and 11, they absolutely love bath time, and I’m thrilled to say that this awesome box has made them the cleanest kids around!

Spooky Splash Whipped Soap - Retail Value $15

It's been a hot minute since we have received a whipped soap scrub, so we were definitely due. The airy, whipped texture of this soap is fun to use and works great with a loofah or washcloth and smells amazing! With notes of citrus, strawberry, and oak moss, this version is sweeter than I might expect from a Halloween themed box, but my kids were more than okay with that. Donning cute pumpkin and skull clip art, this brings a fun spooky aspect to our tub, and makes washing up fun. Enough for multiple washes, this will last us through Halloween, and keep my kids excited for their nightly wash up sesh.

Boo Crew Hand Sanitizer Spray - Retail Value $8

The last item we received was one that was new to me from this subscription. Packaged in a 60 mL glass spray bottle, we received a hand sanitizer spray. Containing 70% Ethyl Alcohol and aloe barbadensis leaf, this spray is scented with notes of red apple, green apple, pear, and pineapple. Very fruity indeed, this is a great product to have on hand during the cold and flu season. With two little boys in our house, this is a necessity for in the car, and the ghost clip art and fun scent help it to be a little more fun to use.

Value – Was This Box Worth It?

The Cost: $43.21 per month + $7.95 shipping.

Value Breakdown: Everything in this box is handmade by Bath Bevy or another small business. Bath Bevy will typically sell these products individually on the website, and everything this month added up to $69.

Key Takeaways

Bath Bevy is literally one of my favorite subscriptions of all time. The presentation, quality, and contents are beyond what I could have hoped for, and my kids absolutely love it too! The "I Put a Spell on You" theme was so much fun, and we all loved the product names, themed clipart, scents, and varying products. While everything was useful to our nightly routines, the bath bomb, and bath dust were definitely our favorite. Bath time is how we all wind down and de-stress from the day, so adding these beautifully created artisan bath products help create ultra relaxing experiences that brightens our moods. With enough supplies to create dozens of relaxing bath time experiences, this subscription is seriously a must-have! If you don't take baths, don't let that deter you from subscribing! Bath Bevy also offers a tubless subscription. If you're a fan of artisan bath products, this is a subscription box worth checking out. Everyone deserves a little extra self-care!
