First Impressions

I’m loving how everything arrived! The packaging was spot-on—nothing was damaged, and everything looked fab right out of the box. Let’s dive in!

What’s Inside

Innisfree Blueberry Rebalancing 5.5 Cleanser – Retail Value: $5.69

This is such a K-beauty staple! It’s got a creamy, almost lotion-like texture that lathers up lightly and leaves your skin feeling clean but hydrated. However, the fruity fragrance is a little too strong for my liking—it’s a personal preference thing! While it’s not a groundbreaking cleanser, it’s a solid budget-friendly option if the scent doesn’t bother you.

Be-Hope Hydrating Glow Ampoule – Retail Value: $18

This is my first time trying Be-Hope, and this ampoule with purple tea extract and niacinamide is all about hydration. It’s a thin, runny serum that absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave behind any stickiness. While it has a pretty impressive ingredient list (hello, hyaluronic acid and allantoin!), I wasn’t wowed. It's a good formula but not a standout.

Be-Hope Comforting Cream – Retail Value: $19

To complement the ampoule, the box also includes this rich moisturizer. It’s on the thicker side, making it perfect for nighttime use or for those with drier skin. While it feels luxurious and absorbs nicely, it’s definitely not a lightweight daytime moisturizer.

LUE by Jean Seo Erase Exfoliating Powder – Retail Value: $8

I was super excited to try this because I love cleansing powders, especially rice-based ones. This one is made with organic oat flour, which sounded intriguing, but it didn’t quite deliver.

The powder didn’t lather up well, and I ended up with clumps of oat in my hands. My skin didn’t feel properly exfoliated afterward, but I might repurpose this by mixing it with a regular cleanser to create a face mask!

Alloy Guava Purifying Wash-Off Mask – Retail Value: $46

I’m always happy to get a new face mask, and this one felt like such a treat. The texture is more on the gel side, but it was still thick enough to apply it easily. It has this delicious fruity/tropical fragrance, and I loved the spatula to make application easier. My skin was absolutely glowing after application!

Mizon Sheet Masks – Retail Value: $2

Mizon sheet masks never disappoint. These are soaked in essence and made of the softest material. I love that the essence has a gel-like texture—it ensures you get every last drop out of the packet. A true K-beauty classic!

Petitfee Gold Hydrogel Eye Patch – Retail Value: $2

I love these hydrogel patches for before-makeup skincare, especially when they have gold particles in them. While these didn’t feel as drenched in serum as I would have liked, they did leave a subtle glow under my eyes. Perfect for a little pre-makeup pick-me-up before a big event!

PinkSeouls Socks – Retail Value: $4

Okay, confession time: I have no idea why these socks are in the box! They’re cute, but they feel a little out of place. No foot cream or related products to pair with them, so they’re more of a random (albeit cute) bonus.

Was This Box Worth It?

In terms of value, this box is totally worth it. However, this month's selection didn’t excite me as much as previous boxes. Some of the products felt a bit basic, but I’m happy with a few key items, like the face mask and the adorable socks. I’m also crossing my fingers we’ll get another exfoliating powder to try next time.
