October is here, and we have just had our first killing frost. It was a long growing season, and though I'm sad to see my dahlias shrivel, I am ready to tuck in for the winter! While we are busy canning carrots, stewing tomatoes, and picking potatoes, the shorter days give us a little more relaxation time and for that I am thankful. This month's Vellabox showed up on my doorstep the day I was knee deep in carrots. Our house was a steamy disaster, but once finished, I lit this month's candle and sat down for the first time all day! Encompassing all things warm, cozy, and relaxing - this box was exactly what I needed for an evening of rest. Vellabox brought its "A+" game this month! I literally just finished burning last month's "Sunset Hayride" candle and was extremely sad since I enjoyed it so much. Would October's pick be as perfect as last months fall scent? OMG, I think it's even better!! Featuring notes of pumpkins, brown sugar, cinnamon, clove, butter, cream, vanilla, and nutmeg, this candle is faaaaabulous! Made with soy wax and premium fragrance oils, this 16 ounce candle has a burn time of about 80 hours and literally smells like heaven. Poured in a simple clear jar with the cutest pumpkin label, this is really coordinating with my fall decor all while creating the most relaxing and warm scent a house can have! 1000% recommend!

Can you believe in all of my years of burning candles I have never purchased a candle snuffer?! Pretty, compact, and fun to use, this snuffer does a nice job of extinguishing fast and easily. A great tool for this candle obsessed mom, I do have to hide it because my son finds it way too fun to use.

Vellabox is a fabulous subscription - seriously it's the best!! Because I burn candles almost every single day, I like natural ones that are free of chemicals. Since starting this subscription, I have stopped burning big-box store candles, and have replaced them with these, which has made a huge impact on our furnace filter! The combination of the fantastic pumpkin candle, snuffer, and Spotify playlist continues to leave me impressed. I already can't wait to see what's in store for November.
