This month’s BomiBox brought one of the hottest K-beauty products of the year, and yes, I clapped. October’s theme is “Anti-Aging Radiance,” perfect for anyone who, like me, dreams of that ageless glow you see on every K-drama ajumma. Yes, I want that Park Shin-hye, just-rolled-out-of-bed-looking-like-a-goddess kind of glow, and with this lineup, it feels...possible?

What’s Inside:
Benton Guava 70 Skin Toner Face Mask Pad – Value $28
Okay, if you’ve been keeping up with my reviews, you know my undying love for toner pads is real, and these ones? 🫰 They’re soaked—no, drenched—in guava extract serum, which gives your skin that dreamy glassy look right away. They’re gentle enough for everyday use, especially if you’re on the drier side, but I’ve been loving them as a treat a few times a week.
Editor tip: Store these in the fridge! That cooling effect? Literal spa vibes. These are a definite yes from me.
Pyunkang Yul Calming Moisture Repair Balm – Value $14.90
Ok…big confession time: Pyunkang Yul and I have never gotten along. 🙈 Their products usually smell strong and end up irritating my skin. But this balm? I’m pleasantly shocked! It’s packed with cica and madecassoside, so it’s insanely soothing and has this thick, rich consistency that feels perfect for chilly weather. Consider me converted! This one’s staying on my shelf for post-facial care or colder days.
Mary&May (Mini) Sensitive Soothing Gel Blemish Cream – Value $4.10
As someone who constantly battles blemishes, this made me so happy to see! I’ve actually got the full-sized version of this. The texture is super light and sinks in fast (no pilling under makeup, thank you!). Plus, it’s got tea tree and Centella Asiatica to calm things down without drying me out. If redness is your struggle, this is also a nice, gentle fix.
VT Cosmetics Reedle Shot EX Collagen Modeling Pack – Value $3.65
I’ll be honest: I don’t usually go for modeling masks because they can be a hassle, but I had to try this one because of the “reedle shot” tech. That means it uses tiny dissolvable microneedles with collagen to help get ingredients deeper into the skin. Fancy, right?! It didn’t hurt at all, just felt like a nice, refreshing mask. My skin looked a little firmer and my pores looked tighter, especially around my cheeks, so I might be coming around to modeling masks after all.
Barulab Peptide Face Mask (1pc) – Value $2
Barulab sheet masks are always in my top five. They’re so gentle, and this peptide one left my skin feeling plump and happy—perfect for calming down after an exfoliating sesh.
Some By Mi Real Snail Skin Barrier Care Mask (1pc) – Retail Value $2
A K-beauty classic! I usually buy these in bulk because they’re great for keeping my skin barrier in check after a long week of testing products. It’s not fancy, but it’s reliable and exactly what I need when I want a no-fuss, nourishing sheet mask.
VT Cosmetics 100 Reedle Shot Stick (10pc) – Retail Value $14
And here it is—the box’s star. 👏🌟
The Reedle Shot Stick is one of those buzzy K-beauty products that’s still everywhere, so I was thrilled to try it. This version is the gentler 100-reedle intensity (there’s also a stronger 300 version). It applies like a dream—no tingling or irritation for me, just a nice, hydrating glow afterward.
I’ll be using it a couple of times a week to see if I notice more long-term results, but so far, I’m into it. It’s like a mini facial in stick form!
Editor tip: Layer this with a hydrating serum afterward! Those reedles open up your skin’s channels, so it’s a prime time to double down on that glow.

Honestly, the inclusion of the Reedle Shot Stick alone makes this month’s box a major win for me. If you’re into the latest K-beauty trends or just want to keep your skin looking as flawless as possible, this box packs a ton of value.
My only small complaint? Three face masks felt like a bit much; I’d have loved a serum or essence to mix it up a bit. But for under $40, this box was a total treat.
