Now, on to the items!
ESHA Natural Curl Hydrating Shampoo, 350 ml - Retail Value $14.99
Prior to this box, I hadn’t had the pleasure of trying any Esha products before, but this Natural Curl Hydrating Shampoo has proven to be a real treat for my curls. Although I usually shy away from scented products, this shampoo has a lovely mix of delicious coconut and refreshing rosemary that almost gives it tropical vibes. Funny how certain scent combinations can make an ordinary wash day just a little extra special. What I love most is the rich, nourishing formula that leaves my hair clean without stripping it of its natural oils. It also lathers well without feeling overly heavy. Afterward, my hair feels soft to the touch with bouncy, hydrated curls that are a bit more manageable, which is also a bonus. Definitely worth a try if you’re looking for a new budget-friendly shampoo option.
ESHA Natural Curl Hydrating Conditioner, 350 ml - Retail Value $13.99
Now, here we have Esha’s Natural Curl Hydrating Condition that pairs perfectly with the shampoo above. Another fantastic addition to my curl care. With the same coconut and rosemary-infused formula (and scent), it does an amazing job at not only nourishing and hydrating my hair but also detangling my curls without weighing them down. The creamy texture glides through my curls effortlessly, leaving them soft, defined, and easy to manage afterward. I like how easily it seems to coat each strand of my hair, enveloping it in a cocoon of moisture. This could easily become a good staple product thanks to its curl-boosting as well.
ESHA Natural Curl Moisture Leave-in Conditioner, 350 ml - Retail Value $15.99
This past summer really took a toll on my hair, so this Esha Natural Curl Moisture Leave-in Conditioner has been a welcome addition to this month’s lineup of products. It has a scent profile that’s similar to the shampoo and conditioner duo, and it’s not overpowering, which is something I greatly appreciate when it comes to a leave-in product. From the moment I applied it to my hair, my curls felt instantly more hydrated and defined, injecting them with a little extra bounce and shine. It's very easy to work through my hair, and it does help to cut down quite a bit on frizz, which is another bonus. What I love most, though, is that it leaves no greasy residue or white case behind. A nice leave-in product that really locks in hydration!
ESHA Natural Heat Protection Spray, 237 ml - Retail Value $15.99
While I don’t often style my hair with heated tools, this Esha Natural Heat Protection Spray is an essential to have on hand, because who knows when you might need/want it. In fact, just the other night, I had an opportunity to dry my hair for the first time in a long, long while; well, this spray came in handy. It not only protects hair from heat damage but also nourishes it with a lightweight formula that doesn’t weigh down my curls and doesn’t leave behind any residue. Works great for prepping my hair before using hot tools on it, helping to minimize the damage that usually comes from doing so. Plus, it helps to keep my curls soft and shiny. Although not something I’ll reach for every day, it’ll always be there when I need it.
ESHA Scalp and Shampoo Massager, 1-pc - Retail Value $4.99
I really like this little Scalp and Shampoo Massager from Esha. I’ve had a similar product, but this one is my favorite iteration thus far. This handheld tool is designed to elevate the shampoo process by providing a gentle yet effective scalp massage while thoroughly cleansing my hair. The soft silicone bristles feel amazing on my scalp, promoting circulation and helping to loosen product buildup without any discomfort. And so far, it’s staying true to its word. I love how easy it is to hold, thanks to its ergonomic design. What I love most is the suction cup design, making it a breeze to hang in the shower. Just another item for making wash day feel a bit more luxurious while also leaving my scalp feeling refreshed and invigorated. A simple yet effective tool that I’m quite thrilled about.
Verdict
This was a strong month for Cocotique! I’m happy about getting the chance to try out the full Esha haircare line. I love the packaging of these products too; very fun and eye-catching. The standout for me was actually the scalp massager. What a practical addition! I also was impressed with the shampoo and conditioner duo, which does an amazing job to keep my curls soft to the touch, lightweight, and defined. Plus, the conditioner really helps to keep any tangles at bay. The leave-in conditioner is excellent for locking in hydration without weighing down my hair, and it keeps my curls shiny and manageable all day long. Lastly, the heat protection spray was another win for me, protecting my hair from heat damage, which is an absolute must for styling with hot tools. Overall, I thought this was a thoughtfully curated box with a good mix of essentials that work together to give my curls the care and attention they deserve, and the value is there.
