Now, on to the items!
Andalou Naturals' Dark Spot Corrector With 5% Vitamin C - Retail Value $30
Sometimes I feel like some of my subscriptions are reading my mind; I was just looking into a few vitamin C products to treat some lingering acne scars, and here we are! Andalou is a great brand that uses ingredients that are certified organic and fair trade. This product has pomegranate stem cells, shitake extract, and caffeine to reduce discoloration, leaving a healthy glow to the skin. This formula is water-like, and you're left with a very smooth texture to the skin.
Masami's Mekabu Hydrating Shine Serum - Retail Value $34
I am always careful with hair products since I have very fine hair that is easily weighed down. It is easy to go overboard with products that leave my clean hair flat and lifeless. I used half of a pump on the ends of my hair; to my surprise, it looked great and was easy to style like I usually do. I noticed my hair felt very soft and nourished, but this light-weight serum didn't affect the natural volume of my hair. Plus, it smells great!
Seraphine Botanicals' Pear + Agave - Retail Value $16
I love this duo for my skin tone. The matte pink mimics my natural flush and looks very flattering. The vanilla highlight, although very frosty and intensely pigmented, is perfect for highlighting the inner corner of the eye. Is that still a cool move?
So Susan's Fan Brush - Retail Value $19
I always welcome new beauty tools from subscription boxes. I guess now I can throw my old fan brush away; my son sat on it years ago and the handle snapped right off. Fan brushes are excellent for applying a light dusting of powder, especially highlighter. This one seems sturdy enough, like it could withstand the weight of a toddler.
Verdict
I really like the picks for November's Nourish Beauty Box. This is only my second box, but I am impressed with the range of products and brands I've received so far. I am especially excited about the lovely blush and highlight duo, as well as the vitamin C spot treatment. November's box retail value comes to $99; you're getting four full-sized products for $35.95, a great deal for anyone looking to expand and enhance their natural beauty products on a budget.
