Ipsy is a monthly beauty and makeup subscription box. For $14 per month, you get five full-sized or deluxe-sized products, plus a cute makeup bag.
This is one of our top recommendations if you are looking for a subscription box — the value and sample sizes are amazing. Just like Birchbox, Ipsy sends out many different variations of their bag each month — so my review is just one of the bag variations you might receive!
My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out our editorial guidelines to learn more about how we review boxes).
First Impressions
Each month, Ipsy subscribers get a makeup bag in addition to their items. This month’s theme, ''Glow Off This Winter,'' pairs perfectly with the chic purple-silver snakeskin makeup bag included. I love that it doubles as a wristlet, and the deep purple lining inside adds a lovely pop of color.
Included is a product card that features a list of the products and beauty tips.
Now, on to the items!
SATURDAY SKIN Carrot and Niacinamide Moisturizing Cream, 8 ml - Estimated Value $7.20
Saturday Skin is a new favorite of mine, and their Carrot and Niacinamide Moisturizing Cream has been a fantastic addition to my skincare routine. I love that it’s virtually scentless; as someone who’s sensitive to fragrances, this is a huge bonus for me. The texture of the product feels lightweight on the skin yet deeply hydrating, leaving my skin feeling smooth, soft, and hydrated. Packed with carrot extract for nourishment, and niacinamide for brightening and improving texture, it’s a simple but effective moisturizer that’s gentle enough for everyday use. Definitely a winner for providing a layer of calming hydration!
FIRST AID BEAUTY Bounce-Boosting Serum with Collagen and Peptides, 10 ml - Estimated Value $15.00
I love First Aid Beauty products, so when I saw this particular product in this month’s bag, I was thrilled. This Bounce-Boosting Serum with Collagen and Peptides has been a real hit with me. The creamy gel texture feels luxurious as it glides onto my skin, offering a perfect balance between richness and quick absorption. It’s thicker than your typical serum, almost lotion-like, but thanks to the gel-like hybrid formula, it sinks into my skin effortlessly without leaving any heaviness. What I love most is how it instantly makes my skin feel plumped up and buoyant as the collagen and peptides work their magic. It’s a great pick for anyone looking to give their skin a little extra bounce and glow. I’m officially a fan.
FORMULA Z Z-Flash Cryo Lift Eye Masks, 2-pc - Retail Value $21.00
I am obsessed with these Z-Flash Cryo Lift Eye Masks from Formula Z. They are such a fun and effective treat for tired eyes! The packaging is adorable and instantly elevates the experience of using them. Infused with caffeine, these eye masks are great for de-puffing and brightening the sensitive under-eye area, making them perfect for those early mornings when my eyes need a little extra help. They’re not only effective, but also feel cooling and refreshing once applied. Truly a lovely pick-me-up to start the day with, especially if you’re an eye mask lover like myself.
BILLION DOLLAR BEAUTY pH Lip Oil, 3.5 ml - Retail Value $18.00
Oooh, the hydration! I am a lover of lip oils. This Billion Dollar Beauty pH Lip Oil is a hydration gem. I appreciate the fluffy doe foot applicator; it makes applying the oil feel super smooth and luxurious. The formula itself looks clear, but once applied to my lips, it took on a lovely pinkish tint that looks both natural and fresh. Bonus points for no weird tingling sensations, which is always a relief with pH-reactive products. Just a heads up: it can stain the skin a bit if you’re not careful during application, so a little precision goes a long way. Overall, it’s a fun, moisturizing product that’s easy to keep on hand.
LOVECRAFT BEAUTY Gel Line Eye Pencil in Motor, 0.21 g - Retail Value $18.00
An eye pencil is a great staple item, and so this Gel Line Eye Pencil from Lovecraft Beauty is a welcome inclusion to this month’s bag. The neutral shade of ''Motor'' looks super smooth, and it’s rather easy to work with. It glides on effortlessly for a clean, precise line or can be smudged out for a softer, smoky effect. While I haven’t been reaching for eye pencils much lately, as I’ve been keeping my makeup routine simple these days, I can definitely see how this could be a versatile addition for when I want to add a little extra drama to my look. It’s a solid option for anyone who loves a creamy, long-lasting eye pencil!
The Verdict
This was a nice month for Ipsy Glam Bag! The Formula Z eye masks were the main standout for me; the cute packaging and caffeine-infused formula worked wonders to de-puff and brighten my under-eye area. I also loved the moisturizing cream from Saturday Skin. Its virtually scentless, lightweight texture delivered calming hydration that left my skin feeling refreshed and smooth. The First Aid Beauty collagen serum was another winner with its luxurious creamy gel texture that absorbed quickly, leaving my skin plump and buoyant. Another much appreciated inclusion was the lip oil from Billion Dollar Beauty, which added a fun touch with its clear-to-pink tint and fluffy doe foot applicator. Just be mindful of precision during application to avoid staining the skin. Lastly, the Lovecraft Beauty eye pencil… The creamy, smooth application was impressive, and you can just as easily use it for a dramatic look as you would for an everyday look. Overall, I thought this bag had a thoughtful mixture of skincare and makeup that balanced practicality with fun, making it a total win this month!
