Bespoke Post Review “Dial” Subscription Box

Bespoke Post is a monthly membership club that delivers high-quality lifestyle products from up-and-coming brands. It’s voted as one of the best men’s subscription boxes of 2024 by our readers and it’s a great box for women and couples as well. 

When you sign up, there’s a quiz to determine your preferences and interests, and then you’re matched with a differently-themed box every month. For $49 a month, each box promises at least $70 in retail value with items ranging from outdoor gear, barware, home, kitchen goods, clothing, and more. If you're not into what's selected for you, there are many others to choose from.

Unlike most subscription boxes, you get to preview your Bespoke Post box before it ships, and you can easily swap for a different box or skip the month for no charge. You only pay for the months that interest you.

Simplicity, elegance, and function – three characteristics to look for in an everyday driver watch. Komono’s Winston Royale nails this directive to perfection with a minimalist, stylish design. It is water resistant to 3 ATM and sports an alloy case with stainless steel back that houses a Japanese Quartz movement. The bracelet is easily swappable if you prefer leather, but I like the stainless steel mesh. It's actually the reason I went with this watch. I think it looks more elegant than my usual nylon, hiking watches. The Winston Royale is available in three dial colors: navy, silver, or black.

I've tried these before in a few gentlemanly boxes and liked them. I like that I look like a football player with them on.

Verdict

This is my third watch from Bespoke Post. I thought it high time to get a more mature watch for the occasional times I need to dress up. While I don't consider myself a very mature person, this felt like an upgrade that was still my style. The face is simple with a splash of color and the metal mesh band is sleek and cool. I couldn't be happier with the watch. And while I appreciate the eye patches, I'm not sure how they relate to the watch. Maybe a better second item could have been a microfiber cloth or some kind of cleaner?

Let's Talk About Value

This box retails for $94. That's a $40 value against the cost of this subscription ($54 including shipping). That's on the high side for Bespoke Post and I like it, even if I would have preferred a different second item. The money I saved could be put toward a different watch band for the nights I'd like to change it up.
