First Impressions
I absolutely adore kitty cats! In my 36 years, I have never known life without one, so when the opportunity to review the CatLadyBox arrived, I snapped it right up. The little gal that will be helping me test out this box is my 15 year old best friend named Miley Mae. She has been with me through thick and thin, and while elderly, is still as sassy as ever. Let's dig in, shall we?!
Although I love most animals, cats are where it's at for me! I only have one precious feline, but I absolutely adore this subscription. Seeing this brown cardboard box with the kitty silhouette, is a highlight of my month. Packaged in black tissue paper held together by a sticker, it presents as a lovely gift that has the potential to hold anything from cat-themed jewelry, clothes, home decor, and more. If you subscribe to the Crazy CatLadyBox, you'll get a few treats for your furbaby, too.
Along with the items, this box also comes with an info sheet, featuring custom artwork on the opposing side. This month's art was created by Tertiana Saienko and features a pair of snuggling kitties in perfect time for Valentine's Day! I enjoy this inclusion because though it is just a content card, the artwork is great for adding to your fridge or bulletin board as an extra pop of fun!

"My Cat is My Bestie" Tee - Listed Value $22.99
I love cute tees and this one came in my second favorite color! This bright pink shirt features the cutest distressed font and kitty art. Extra soft in feel, I loved the vintage fabric look and texture and couldn't wait to put it on! Size wise the unisex medium fit me well, and I appreciate the longer length. The cotton fabric is extra soft and I really appreciate the clothing inclusion. I really think this is one of my favorite tee designs, and have already worn it to school!
Paws & Reflect Journal - Listed Value $11.99
The next item I received was a nice little kitty cat journal. Totable in size, this isn't as large as a notebook, but has the cutest faux leather cover sprinkled with cats and flowers. Featuring lined paper, this would be great as a daily journal space, a note catcher, scratch paper, or gift! In my job, I go from classroom to classroom and tote a journal along with me to write down notes, and help out kids. This version brought a bit of fun into my everyday, and the kids loved looking at the happy, pretty print! I love this!
Luna Cat Glass Dish - Retail Value $22.99
I love glassware, and while I tend to gravitate towards antique things, I appreciated receiving this beautiful glass dish that gives a gentle nod to my passion for kitties. Not over the top, this white dish has speckles of texture throughout and is the perfect catchall for things on my night stand. Well made and functional in design, there is a slight dip in the center to keep things contained, all while looking ultra chic. I really enjoyed this inclusion!
Kitty Stickies Sticker Set - Retail Value $6.99
As a married mother of two, Valentine's Day is a fine holiday, but really just another day. For high schoolers though, I learned that this day is either the best or horrible. I had a ton of students in tears over not receiving a Valentine gift, but the Cat Lady Box came to the rescue. I stuck a sheet of these heart shaped cat stickers in my bag, and boy did I make a few kids' day by giving them a couple of stickers! Adorable in design, I received two sheets and was happy to share, but also can't wait to add these to card envelopes in the future. I'll take all the stickers please!
Cuddly Carl Caterpillar Toy - Listed Value $5.99
I have mentioned this before, but Miley is pretty old, and while agile and snuggly, she really doesn't appreciate toys like I wish she would. Cat Lady Box includes toys that are always cute and I have to say, this month's was probably the cutest I have seen! With a large, fluffy body, this caterpillar has little brown antennas and its fine fluff waves in the breeze! Great in size and fun to throw around, this was a fun toy inclusion in a really fun lime color!
Miss Miley thought this toy was okay, but utilized it more as a pillow than a toy. As for it becoming her new bestie like the content card says it might, Scout is still her BFF!! The love she has for this dog is pretty dang adorable!
Butterfly Kiss Wand Toy - Listed Value $5.99
The second toy we received was of the wand variety and had the cutest butterfly on the end of a long string. Younger Miley might have chased this, but now she just looks at me annoyed. The boys have been asking if this spring we could get a kitten, so this wand was put away for (maybe) the near future!
Who needs a wand toy when you can just get snuggles and dog licks?! Crazy girl!!
At almost 16 years old, Miley has been with me through so many of life's ups and downs. Everyday with her is a gift and I can only hope she lives forever!
