Ipsy is a monthly beauty and makeup subscription box. For $14 per month, you get five full-sized or deluxe-sized products, plus a cute makeup bag.
This is one of our top recommendations if you are looking for a subscription box — the value and sample sizes are amazing. Just like Birchbox, Ipsy sends out many different variations of their bag each month — so my review is just one of the bag variations you might receive!

First Impressions
Each month, Ipsy subscribers get a makeup bag in addition to their items. This month’s theme is "Self Love Starts Here," and it’s all about embracing a little extra self-care. Plus, I’m obsessed with the bag design. The soft pink exterior features an embossed heart pattern that feels perfectly on theme, while the purple hearts lining the interior add a sweet touch. But the real star? The zipper hardware – it’s a mini lollipop, complete with a flexible ‘stick’ for extra charm. Now, I really can’t wait to dive into this month’s product curation and see what’s inside.
Included is a product card that features a list of the products and beauty tips.
Now, on to the items!
BENEFIT COSMETICS BADgal Bounce Volumizing Mascara in Pump’d Up Black, 3 g - Estimated Value $10.24
There’s something about a good volumizing mascara that instantly elevates a whole look, and Benefit Cosmetics’ BADgal Bounce Volumizing Mascara in Pump’d Up Black delivers on that drama. The curved brush is designed to hug the lashes perfectly, helping to coat every single one for a lifted, fanned-out effect. I’m impressed with the formula, which is ultra-black and lightweight, adding noticeable volume without feeling heavy or clumpy. It’s also made to be smudge-proof and long-wearing. If you need a mascara that builds major volume while keeping lashes flexible, this one is worth a try.
RODIAL Pink Diamond Salicylic Acid Pore Refining Cleanser, 20 ml - Retail Value $14.00
A good cleanser is always a welcome addition to my routine. I’ve used other products from Rodial, and they’ve never disappointed. This Pink Diamond Salicylic Acid Pore Refining Cleanser, with its gel-based formula, has really lived up to the name. It has a lightweight, refreshing texture that lathers just enough and rinses off cleanly with no residue left behind. The combo of salicylic acid and glycolic acid helps to gently exfoliate and refine pores while Vitamin E keeps the skin balanced. Bonus points for the subtle brightening effect, giving that fresh-faced look. If you’re a fan of gel cleansers that cleanse deeply without stripping the skin, this one is a win.
THE NUE CO. Barrier Culture Body Cream, 30 ml - Estimated Value $14.40
A good body cream should feel like a treat for your skin, and this Barrier Culture Body Cream delivers. I love its rich yet lightweight texture. It absorbs quickly, leaving my skin feeling deeply hydrated and smooth without any greasy residue. I was also thrilled to find it virtually scent-free; there’s a faint, spa-like freshness, but nothing overpowering, which is my preference. The formula is designed to support the skin’s microbiome, strengthening the moisture barrier simultaneously. It feels luxurious to the touch, and I was impressed by how soft and nourished my skin felt after applying. Overall, a gentle but effective body cream that truly hydrates and doesn’t irritate.
CIELE Sponge with Travel Case, 1-pc - Retail Value $16.00
Wow, Ciele’s Sponge with Travel Case is a real game-changer! What a smart, travel-friendly upgrade. The sponge itself has an interesting slanted shape that makes blending foundation seamless while also allowing for precision (especially handy when contouring or getting into tricky areas under the eyes). But the real standout for me is the sturdy plastic travel case, which keeps the sponge clean and protected even while on the go. The built-in airflow holes are a genius touch, helping it dry properly and preventing any unwanted bacteria or mold buildup. It’s this kind of thoughtful design that makes a daily essential even better. Highly recommend, especially if you use a makeup sponge on the regular.
LES BEAUTY Eyeshadow Crayon in Desert Rose (Sultry Plum), 3 g - Retail Value $18.00
Personally, I struggle a bit with eyeshadow crayons (maybe I’m too heavy-handed), but I can definitely see how this Les Beauty’s Eyeshadow Crayon in Desert Rose (Sultry Plum) would be a dream for someone who likes products like these. The formula is ultra-creamy and glides smoothly across the lids, making it great for quick application. It’s also buildable, so you can easily layer it up for a bolder effect. The shade is a gorgeous metallic gold with a subtle shimmer. If you want a creamy, blendable formula that lets you create an eye look in a flash, this could become a new go-to.

The Verdict
This was a solid month for Ipsy Glam Bag! The highlight for me was definitely Ciele’s makeup sponge with the travel case. Finally – a ventilated case to ensure my makeup sponge stays clean and pristine. Rodial’s cleanser was another standout, offering a refreshing gel texture with gentle exfoliation that leaves my skin feeling smooth to the touch. The body cream from The Nue Co. delivered even more luxury, with a fast-absorbing formula that kept my skin soft and hydrated without any greasy residue. Benefit Cosmetics’ volumizing mascara impressed me with its bold, smudge-proof formula and a curved brush that coats every lash. Lastly, the eyeshadow crayon from Les Beauty… The creamy, buildable formula makes for easy application, and it’s a solid pick for anyone who loves quick and easy eye looks. Overall, this bag delivered a thoughtful balance of everyday staples and fun new finds, and the value is there.
