PinkSeoul Plus Box Review January/February 2025

Did This Box Deliver the Glow-Up We Were Hoping For?

Happy Seollal! This box started strong with a fitting pick for the Lunar New Year, so I was excited to see what else was inside. We’re stepping into the Year of the Serpent, which made me hope for products designed to shed the old and bring in that fresh, dewy, glass skin we all crave. Did it deliver? Let’s see.

First Impressions

Props to PinkSeoul for figuring out their packaging game. Everything arrived safe, secure, and without leaks. Now, let’s talk products!

What’s Inside

Farm Stay All-in-One Refresh Peeling Gel Kiwi – Retail Value $11.21

This product isn’t bad, but it’s nothing groundbreaking either. It feels like the kind of fun, fruity skincare you’d get for a teenager. It does an okay job exfoliating and cleaning the skin, but the texture is runny and tricky to apply. Think of it as a thick cleanser rather than a proper peeling gel. Overall, not the most exciting pick.

Mizon Good Night Wrinkle Care Sleeping Mask – Retail Value $18

I’m not a huge fan of sleeping masks, but I actually liked this one. It absorbs into the skin (so no messy pillowcases), and I woke up with seriously glowy skin. The texture is thick and a bit waxy at first, but once it sinks in, it’s weightless. Definitely a winter skincare staple for those extra dry nights!

Tovegan Green Glow-Up Cream – Retail Value $25

A new brand alert! This one caught my attention. Labeled as an anti-wrinkle cream, but packed with acne-fighting ingredients, this is mostly a chlorophyll-based cream with a spa-like scent. It’s thick but not greasy, and you can even layer it as a sleeping mask. While I’m not sure it’ll be my go-to face cream, I can see myself using this for the body.

ALLOY Pink Guava Glow Serum – Retail Value $42

A repeat brand, but I’m not mad about it. This serum is lightweight, great for pore care, and super runny, so you can layer it with other serums. There’s no scent, making it sensitive skin-friendly. A solid addition to any routine.

Anua Heartleaf 77% Soothing Toner – Retail Value $4.50

Unpopular opinion: this viral toner is overrated. I used a whole bottle before, and... nothing happened. It’s a decent hydrating toner, but that’s about it. If you’re into Anua, I’d recommend trying one of their other toners that offer more skin benefits.

Elizavecca Honey Deep Power Ringer Mask Pack – Retail Value $2

Another Elizavecca sheet mask in a box? Yes, please! The fit is amazing, the sheet is super soft, and it’s drenched in serum. No complaints here.

JMsolution Nourishing Perilla Frutescens Mask – Retail Value $2

Finally, a Lunar New Year-themed product! JMsolution never misses with their sheet masks. The packaging is adorable, and I honestly wish I could keep the packet just for the design.

Was This Box Worth It?

Value Breakdown:

  • Farm Stay Peeling Gel: $11.21
  • Mizon Sleeping Mask: $18
  • Tovegan Glow-Up Cream: $25
  • ALLOY Serum: $42
  • Anua Toner: $4.50
  • Elizavecca Sheet Mask: $2
  • JMsolution Sheet Mask: $2

Was it worth the price? Yes. Was it exciting? Not really. This box felt a bit scattered, without a clear focus or routine. While I appreciate the variety, I wish the selections were more cohesive so you could use them together seamlessly. The standout for me? The Mizon Sleeping Mask. It changed my mind about sleeping packs, and that’s saying something!
