Life was getting hectic, and I needed a break from cooking. Enter Factor_, a fresh, fully prepared meal delivery service that requires exactly zero effort beyond heating. No chopping, no dishes, no “what’s for dinner?” debates.
Factor_ lets you pick from 40+ rotating meals per week, with options for keto, high-protein, vegetarian, and more. Everything comes pre-cooked, so all you have to do is heat and eat. Sounds like a dream, right? Here’s my full, unfiltered take.
First Impressions: The Box
When my Factor_ box arrived, it was solid, no dents, no leaks, no chaos. If you’re someone who appreciates good packaging (hi, it’s me), you’ll love this.
The meals were stacked perfectly, with insulation and ice packs keeping everything cold… well, mostly cold. The ice had started melting, but my meals were still chilled enough to be safe. Not a dealbreaker, but it's something to note.
The Meals: What We Ordered

I wanted variety, so we went with:
✔️ Veggie options (for me)
✔️ Chicken & seafood meals (for both of us)
At first glance, the portions looked small, probably because they were packed so tightly. But I told myself, Let’s not judge a meal by its plastic container… yet.
The Cooking (or Shall I Say Reheating) Experience
Factor_ meals are as easy as it gets. No prep, no dishes, just pop them in the microwave for six minutes, and done. I love how they even specify how to place the container in the microwave. Who knew that could make a difference?!
If you’re feeling fancy, you can heat them in the oven for a slightly better texture. But honestly? I was way too hungry for that.
Taste Test & Portion Sizes
Now for the real test: Did Factor_ meals actually taste good?
I was most skeptical about the Ginger Teriyaki Salmon because, let’s be honest, pre-cooked salmon is usually a disaster. I’m still impressed. The salmon was juicy, the flavors were on point, and we’re still very much impressed.

I can’t say much about the beef-based meals (since I don’t eat beef), but they got the husband’s seal of approval (and trust me, he’s picky.) From my end, at least, I know they taste better than how they look...
And those “small” portions? Deceptively filling. Seriously. I expected to be rummaging through the fridge after, but I was pretty full and satisfied. Factor clearly knows how to balance protein, carbs, and veggies so you actually stay full.
Value for Money
Alright, Factor_ isn’t the cheapest meal delivery service, but let’s break it down.
We got the 6-meal plan, which comes out to $13.49 per meal. At first glance, that might seem a little steep. But, these aren’t those sad, rubbery frozen meals you regret buying. Everything actually tastes fresh.
Also, it’s healthier than takeout. No mystery ingredients, just real, balanced meals made by chefs and dietitians. And you do get discounts with all your boxes to make it more affordable.
Could I cook a meal for less than $13.49? Sure. But would it take me way more time, effort, and dishes? Also yes.
For me, Factor_ is worth the price on busy weeks when I don’t have the time (or patience) to cook but still want something healthy and actually good.
Final Thoughts: Is Factor_ Worth It?
If you’re busy, hate cooking, or just want good food fast, Factor_ is 100% worth it. The meals taste amazing, the portions are satisfying, and the convenience is unbeatable.
Would I order again? Absolutely. Especially on those weeks when life gets crazy. And if you try it? Get the salmon. Trust me.
