The company was founded by Dave Asprey, who created a novel form of brain-boosting creamer after being inspired by a cup of yak-butter tea in Tibet. His combination of grass-fed butter and MCT oil became an overnight sensation that redefined what clean energy should look like.
This review is of the following products by Bulletproof: Original Ground Coffee, Original Creamer, Unflavored Collagen Peptides, The High Achiever Coffee, and Greens.

What's Inside The Box
My first box from Bulletproof was quite versatile! Not only did I receive their OG coffee and creamer, but I got several supplements as well. Considering I'm pretty depleted in this current postpartum season (thanks, tandem feeding), I was beyond thrilled to get this mix of products.
Here's what I thought of each product!
The Original Whole Bean Coffee, Medium Roast - Starts at $11.19
I love just about any kind of coffee, so you bet I was excited to try out Bulletproof's OG brew. While I figured the hints of cinnamon, plum, and orange would be smooth, the cocoa hazelnut finish is what I was looking forward to tasting the most. I put my pour-over maker to work, and it brewed a savory, comforting cup of goodness. The richness of the cocoa hazelnut was dominant throughout, but I could grasp some citrusy and fruity sips as well. This will defintiely be my morning go-to for quite some time.
Bulletproof Original Creamer - Starts at $41.99
Normally, I don't drink coffee without grass-fed creamer. (You know, the regular kind that's liquid.) This creamer, however, totally surprised me. I ended up enjoying it so much that I used the entire container in under two weeks.
Sure, it takes a little getting used to. You've gotta mix it in and be patient for it to liquify. But once it's dissolved, your coffee ends up having this fun froth that's creamy and helps you avoid the jitters through its generous portion of fat. While standard creamer is still my favorite, this serves as a highly competitive substitute.
I'll admit that I have a horrible habit of waking up first thing and drinking coffee before food. And, yes, even before drinking water. But now, I don't feel as guilty—I'm adding in calories, most importantly from fat (which I need generous portions of in this current season of life).
Unflavored Collagen Peptides - Starts at $30.76
Ok, I've gone full meal-in-a-mug mode now. Not only do I add the creamer mentioned above into my coffee, but I also throw this in the mix, too. Now, I've got a decent portion of protein and fat in my coffee—what more could a mom of toddlers ask for in the mornings?
Just like any collagen powder, this will have the slightest chalk-like aftertaste if you solely mix it with water or even coffee. However, I don't notice it at all when I add Bulletproof's creamer.
I love that this product is made from grass-fed, pasture-raised cows. I also like that it's unflavored, as I prefer mixing collagen with a variety of drinks and foods. I thought the product dissolved incredibly well, far better than most I've tried, actually.
The High Achiever Coffee - Starts at $11.89
For the mornings when I need extra help, this is the coffee I flock to. I don't recall trying out a coffee like this in the past, so I was curious to see how it would taste considering the supplements. Overall, it made for a solid cup of medium-dark roast.
I had improved focus within 30 minutes of drinking it and never had an energy crash, not even ebbs and flows. The dosages of each supplement were generous, but not over the top, and I'm thankful for that. While I liked the taste of the Original Coffee best, this one was still quite good and came to my rescue on the mornings I needed it the most.
Greens Powder - Starts at $34.96
This was hands-down the best greens powder I've ever had. Don't get me wrong, it was certainly earthy at some points, but the subtle sweetness made it go down smoothly. In the past, I've avoided most green powders as I was convinced they were just a scam. However, I felt revived after using this product daily and highly recommend this product. If anything, it's an easy way to fill in nutritional gaps, and I noticed the biggest difference in regard to recovering from training. I've also had a slight reduction in bloating and better gut health (but I'll spare you the details).
For reference, some of the main food ingredients include organic spinach, organic kale, broccoli, organic celery, cauliflower, cabbage, kelp, organic cucumber, limes, lemons, organic blueberries, and organic strawberries. There are also nootropics like citicoline and panax ginseng, along with digestive enzymes, mushrooms, and more.
Perhaps best of all, there's only a single gram of sugar which goes to show the flavor from this product is solely from its superfoods.
The Verdict
Ever since I competed in women's figure back in the day, I've had Bulletproof on my radar. I knew their products would be good, but honestly, they were nothing short of stellar. It's hard to choose a favorite product, considering the mix of items I tried, but I'd say it was a tie between the creamer and greens powder. I look forward to trying even more products from Bulletproof in the near future and will definitely share my experiences with you all!
