First Impressions

Everything arrived safe, sound, and looking cute — no broken jars or leaky pouches. Let’s dive into the goodies.
What’s Inside
Chloe Emerald Rose Quartz Gua Sha – Retail Value: $20
Getting a gua sha tool in a subscription box always feels like a treat, and this one made me do a double take. It was stubborn to unbox, but once freed, I loved the scalloped edge design. Perfect for a deeper massage around the shoulders or even along the scalp. The rose quartz feels luxe in the hand. Time will tell how it holds up.
Lue Restore Oil – Retail Value: $20
Lue is a repeat brand in these boxes, but honestly, I don’t mind. These little capsules are perfect for travel — though let’s be real, you’ll need scissors to open one. I appreciate that they stuck to my skin type profile with this pick. Despite being a face oil, it’s safe for acne-prone skin. It absorbed beautifully and didn’t leave me feeling greasy, just glowy.
Minimo Candy Edible Lip Scrub – Retail Value: $21.95
We need a moratorium on lip scrubs in subscription boxes, because everyone’s sending them lately. That said... this one is nice. The sugar-to-oil ratio is spot on, and my lips felt baby-soft afterward. It claims to help with lip discoloration thanks to bearberry extract, and I’ll keep using it to see if it delivers. But would I ever pay $22 for this? Nope.
Alloy Pink Guava Calming Barrier Cream – Retail Value: $32
This line has been making the rounds in PinkSeoul boxes, and I think we’re close to trying the full set. This moisturizer is creamy but lightweight, with no overpowering scent — which is a win in the world of guava-scented skincare. It’s hydrating enough for day or night use, but the price feels a bit steep for what it is. A solid product, just not revolutionary.
Be-Hope Purple Tea Extract Moisturizing Sunblock – Retail Value: $15
This was such a find. It’s vegan, moisturizing, and somehow manages to disappear into the skin despite being SPF50+ PA++++. The texture is a little thick at first but melts into a creamy, dewy finish that left my skin hydrated all day. And absolutely zero white cast. K-beauty sunscreen innovation never fails me, and this one earned a top shelf spot.
Miguhara Rose Collagen Glow Multi Balm – Retail Value: $13
If you know, you know — multi balms are the secret to that glass skin glow. This one looks beautiful and adds a soft, non-greasy radiance to the high points of your face. But here’s the thing: the rose scent is strong, and it lingers. For me, it crosses into “grandma perfume” territory. It also leaves a slight film rather than fully absorbing, which I’m not into. Love the idea, not sold on the execution.
Medi Peel Pearl Collagen Firming Glow Mask – Retail Value: $1.99

I’m usually a Medi Peel fan, but this mask fell flat. Tons of serum in the pouch, yet somehow the sheet dried out quickly on my face. I had to keep patting more on just to get through 15 minutes. Meh.
Nature Republic Real Nature Mask Sheet (Bamboo) – Retail Value: $1.90

This one, though? A dream. Drenched in serum, calming, and left my skin feeling plump and refreshed. The fit needed a few snips, but that’s typical. Definitely considering buying a 10-pack. It’s that good.
Was This Box Worth It?
The Cost: $49.95 bi-monthly

Value Breakdown:
- Chloe Emerald Gua Sha: $20
- Lue Oil: $20
- Minimo Lip Scrub: $21.95
- Alloy Cream: $32
- Be-Hope Sunblock: $15
- Miguhara Balm: $13
- Medi Peel Mask: $1.99
- Nature Republic Mask: $1.90
Total: $125.84
So yes, this box was absolutely worth it. The gua sha alone is a win, and the sunscreen and oil capsules were standout surprises. I wasn’t into every product (looking at you, rose balm) but I found a new favorite sheet mask and was reminded that not all oils are enemies for acne-prone skin.
