It’s April, and I’m still sitting here in Minnesota waiting for spring temperatures. Last week, it snowed 8 inches, and today the high is only 30°F. Will winter ever end?! One perk about it being chilly outside is that I can sit indoors and take a few moments to relax. Aromatherapy is definitely key in my relaxation process, so Vellabox arrived just in time to help with that. If the soft flicker of candlelight paired with amazing scents gives you that irresistible, relaxed feeling, I highly recommend this subscription. I absolutely love candles. To mark the end of my workday and signal that I’m in relaxation mode, I light a candle, soaking in the calming scent and soft glow. Since many candles contain harmful ingredients, I’ve switched from cheap, mass-produced options to high-quality, premium candles free from all the nasty chemicals. This month’s candle is made from locally sourced soy wax, premium fragrance oils, and 100% cotton wicks. The scent I received, "Catching Rays," features an invigorating blend of pink grapefruit, lemon, mandarin, orange peel, green bergamot, grapefruit flower, rose buds, and star jasmine. It's the most unique citrus scent I've ever experienced, evoking a sense of vibrant, new energy. The pink label perfectly captures the essence of spring, and I absolutely love how the scent and design come together to create such a refreshing atmosphere. With an 80-hour burn time, this candle lasts much longer than store-brand options and even helps keep our furnace filter cleaner. I can’t say enough good things about this candle!
This month's candle was created by Dirt Road Candle Co., a company that was created by a woman-owned business in Iowa. The candles themselves are hand-poured using soy wax from local soy bean farms. All other ingredients are sourced from the USA. They guarantee to use the best, most natural, and most non-toxic stuff out there, which I absolutely love!

I love filling out handwritten notes, so this set of four greeting cards was a welcome gift for me. Featuring tranquil and flowy artwork, we received a birthday card, a blank card, one for your "main squeeze," and a thank you card. Each card is blank inside and comes with a white envelope. Though small, these cards are high-quality and make a great addition to this month's box!

Vellabox is a fabulous subscription, and one I look forward to receiving each and every month. Because I burn candles almost everyday, I must utilize ones that are free of toxins and harmful ingredients. Vellabox does a fabulous job at choosing small brands that not only are safe to use, but smell amazing too! This month's citrus mix was one of my favorite candles and truly helped create a springtime energy I need to get through this additional snow! Add the Spotify playlist and greeting card set, and my month was made complete! I already can't wait to see what's in store for May!
