I love wearing jewelry - ring stacks, bracelets, earrings, anklets - you name, it I'm probably wearing it. I like to mix things up, but the jewelry I like always falls into two categories: either super unique and expensive, or affordable but low-quality.
I stumbled upon Local Eclectic’s jewelry on Instagram, and it's amazing prices and beautiful designs seemed too good to be true, so I definitely had some concerns…
1). I thought affordable would mean lower-quality
So many brands that claim to be affordable conveniently forget to mention that you are getting what you pay for. Soon enough, that inexpensive ring is tarnished and the stones are falling out!
I’ve gotta say–I was super impressed by the quality of Local Eclectic’s pieces given their price. Most of their solid gold pieces range from $50 to around $300, which is an amazing price point for jewelry you can really live in. Ranging from around $25 to $11,400, there’s a piece for every price point. Bonus points: the packaging is so cute!
My Solid Gold Salt and Pepper Diamond Huggie Hoops are made from 10k solid gold and haven’t tarnished at all (and trust me–I live a pretty active lifestyle). And I can tell that the stones in my Solid Gold Ombre Birthstone Ring are solidly in place, no matter how often I wear it.
2). I didn’t think the jewelry would be life-proof
My jewelry style is pretty minimalistic, but I love layering dainty pieces. So, I don’t normally find myself removing my chains, bracelets, and rings right before I work out, shower, or go to bed–it’s a lot of effort, and I want to wear jewelry I love 24/7!
My Solid Gold Salt and Pepper Diamond Huggie Hoops are classy but not too delicate for everyday wear, and they’re the one pair I have yet to take off since I got them. My Solid Gold Crystal Charm for Manifestation has held up to showering, sleeping, swimming, sweating, and just plain living. These pieces are crafted to last as long as heirlooms, so it makes sense. Dainty without being actually breakable? Sign me up.
3). I was worried the experience would be too impersonal
Local Eclectic’s entire customer experience feels like interacting with a friend! They ship to anywhere in the world (it’s true!) and if you’re not happy with what you received, the returns are quick and easy.
Plus, you feel good about your purchase because you’re supporting a woman-founded and woman-run company that does all of their photography, fulfillment, and customer service in-house. I love that!
4). I wasn’t sure the jewelry would align with my values
It’s important to me to shop sustainably and consciously, so knowing that Local Eclectic ethically sources their pieces from emerging indie designers around the world was icing on the already-fabulous cake.
Local Eclectic is always adding to their collection, too, working with 80+ designers and adding new styles every week. From classic heirloom pieces to statement necklaces, they’re not lacking in styles.

Overall, my experience with Local Eclectic has been nothing short of amazing. Even though I was initially skeptical about their claims, I can confidently say I didn’t think the jewelry would be so stylish and cute. I would highly recommend Local Eclectic to anyone who is looking for high-quality, affordable jewelry that is as unique as they are!
