Since 2020, when lululemon acquired at-home smart gym MIRROR, I’ve been eager to see how the two companies would grow together. While I’ve noticed Mirrors in lululemon stores and MIRROR instructors wearing lululemon merchandise, a bigger move seemed inevitable. And as a fan of both brands, I was excited to see what would happen next.
Well, my friends, the time has come, and it’s better than I ever imagined. MIRROR is no longer MIRROR—it’s now known as lululemon Studio—and now includes more partners, more workouts, and more membership perks than ever before. It’s truly one of the best deals in fitness right now, and below are some reasons why:
1. lululemon Studio is now partnered with top fitness brands
I’m super excited that you can now take classes on The Mirror from Rumble, Pure Barre, Yoga 6, DOGPOUND, Y7 Yoga, AKT, and AARMY from home, anytime I want. In other words, the amount and variety of classes lululemon Studio offers just grew substantially, and includes fitness brands I’ve always been curious about. All for the same $39 monthly membership fee!
2. Increased quality of content
While lululemon Studio offered a variety of classes including boxing, barre, yoga, HIIT, and dance cardio, the addition of these new studios takes it to the next level. Rumble, Pure Barre, and Y7 all have a certain routine to their classes that I love and am excited to see on The Mirror (along with their amazing instructors). The few AARMY classes I’ve attended left me sore for days, so I can’t wait to try them again.
3. New membership perks
In addition to my love of exercise, I also love exercise attire. I’ve never met a pair of leggings I didn’t want, and my 10% discount on all lululemon merchandise will go a long way toward expanding my wardrobe. It will also be great to use during my holiday shopping.
Additional membership perks include 20% off in-person classes at partner studios, unlimited free classes in select lululemon stores, and more. I used to go to Rumble every Saturday with a group of friends before the pandemic, and will definitely be treating myself to some classes there in the coming months. I’ve always wanted to try DOGPOUND, and definitely will be doing that as well!
4. Same product, new price
Did I mention that the price for the lululemon Studio is now $795, and includes access to all of the classes and membership perks with your $39 monthly subscription fee? The hardware is the exact same and they’ll continue to produce new content with their talented team of in-house instructors. But with the addition of partner studios and new discounts, there’s a lot more bang for my buck. During Black Friday, you can get it for $745!
5. lululemon Studio provides so much flexibility
I love the flexibility with lululemon Studio – there are over 50 class types with workouts ranging from 5-60 minutes for all skill levels. Classes are both live and on-demand, with new studios and classes being added regularly. You can take live classes or take them on demand on your schedule, and this will be the same with the new studios and classes being added. You can even use playlists or connect to your Apple Music collection.
The lululemon Studio Mirror also provides flexibility in terms of space. As someone who lives in a cramped New York City apartment, I appreciate that the product takes up no room and serves double duty as a mirror.
Ongoing Fitness Benefits
I’m super pumped that I get everything I already know and love about the lululemon Studio Mirror – plus so much more—with this rebrand. I know a few friends who are already planning their purchase, and I’m excited to start sweating together and experience all these benefits.
