My name is Mel. I'm a 32 year old mom of two boys (5 & 6) living on Long Island, NY with my husband and two dogs! After having my kids I suffered from PPD and PPA which caused a HUGE weight gain. Once the pandemic hit, I was hanging on by a thread and in November of 2021 I decided that I needed to make a lifestyle change. I joined Weight Watchers, started to do Peloton workouts and slowly began to make sustainable life changes. Flash forward to now, I have lost 65 lbs and discovered ways to make healthy swaps in recipes that make weight loss manageable and still delicious. I have cultivated my Tiktok, Instagram and a group on Facebook of like minded people that I share recipes and food recommendations with. I am always looking for new products to try and new swaps to make so that I keep variety in my diet and don't get bored.
