Hungryroot has been an absolute game changer for my busy lifestyle and restrictions. I have a strange intolerance (onions and garlic) and it's so easy for me to make sure that I don't receive anything that I can't have with Hungryroot. I also love that the meals come together so quickly (15 minutes or less!). When I'm hungry, I'm hungry, and I do not want to cook for an hour before I can eat. And I've tried lots of delicious healthy treats (hi, Almond Chickpea Cookie Dough, looking at you) that I never would have tried before. 1000% recommend!

I cannot recommend this service enough! I have dinner on the table in ~10 minutes every night, even after a busy day at work. Plus, I no longer have to worry about grocery shopping and my whole family absolutely loves it! They have ready-to-eat options for my husband, snacks for my toddler and vegan/vegetarian options for me - it's just perfect! My husband swears that he's lost weight over the years using Hungryroot too.

My wife and I were so excited. We have been looking for a meal system that took figuring out what to eat nightly. First weeks order we got, missing items, okay no big deal. I reach out the credit me $5 for buns. Second week, more items missing about 6 items, I emailed and they gave me an extra $5 on top of all the missing product and a sorry for the inconvenience. 3rd week more missing items. At this point my wife and I are so fed up, we ordered this for the meals, it came with recipes to make each meal and when you are missing key ingredients for the meal, you’re either having to go to the store to make up for the missing ingredients or eat the meal without it. Customer service only ever says sorry, but how about reaching out to the area and figure out what is going on in the warehouse where the boxes are being packed. So many more companies out there that I am sure have to do a better job. Guess I’ll find out. Whatever you do, avoid hungry root.

I am so unhappy with hungryroot. I received about 8 boxes total. Confirmation emails aren't sent orders until AFTER the order is placed, so no reminders to update your box or skip for the week. Items have been missing in almost every box I have received. I have had several items expired BEFORE the expiration date on the package. I've only been using hungryroot since it's a healthy alternative during the pandemic. After the last box I had, I just couldn't so it anymore. Absolutely fed up with their service. I had canceled my subscription and then randomly my account was reactivated WITHOUT my knowledge so I was charged for another box. Again, they don't send confirmation emails so I was in the dark until my credit card was charged. I reached out to them within 24 hours of the charge and they refuse to cancel the order. Also they don't have a phone number you can call. It's only through email or text, which is absurd. Horrible customer service.
