PotomacBeads Best Bead Box Reviews

At $25.99 per box, you are paying about $1.44 per item (I counted the pattern as an item since they do sell those).  I really enjoyed this month’s Potomac Beads Best Bead Box. I had fun putting the necklace together from the pattern, I was happy with all the crystals and shaped beads, and some of the other supplies, like the tassel and the glass cabochon, had colors and color schemes that appealed to me a great deal.

This month was a little bit of a departure for Potomac Beads in that the project was a stringing project rather than a beadweaving project, but that’s kind of nice for a change. In general I think they do a good job of mixing it up with project types. There was an obvious Valentine’s Day theme with the pink and red, but I also noticed a teal and white secondary color theme if you’re less of a fan of pink and red. There were a lot of items this month with multiple instances of crystal, shaped beads, gemstones, and seed beads, so I’m happy with the value as well.

I did not calculate a value for the PotomacBeads Best Bead Box since, although they do sell many of the items in their shop, they are not always in the same quantities. I loved the warm neutrals and purples this month and I had fun working with the tubelet beads. I’m always happy to get more multi-hole beads for my stash and I’ve got some great ideas for some of the items that weren’t part of the pattern project. This was a pretty good month for me!
