Wow, 85%of these are severely over priced. A gift card would be a better idea. Then they could get what they wanted.

They do tend to be a bit expensive (this is why I was sure to include a few less-expensive favorites like Universal Yums & Raaka!)—I learned this awhile back as I was looking for something to send to a friend who’d just had a baby. I was NOT prepared for the price tag! Depending on the circumstances I think it can feel worth it, but I agree that sending a gift card is an awesome alternative. Especially now while local businesses are really counting on their communities to support them during the tough times!

Thank you!

Ink cards has been a wonderful way to send photo cards to my grampa who is in a nursing home. It’s really brightened his spirits which is much needed right now.
I’ll look through these boxes and see if any are a good fit. Thanks for the suggestions MSA.

Oh that’s such a good idea! Plus, it’s so rare that pictures we take on our phones get printed, so it’s good for posterity. 😉

Thanks for this awesome list!

When I was feeling really sick a couple of years ago, a very dear friend sent me the spoonful of comfort box. Soup and cookies were delicious and we still use the ladle regularly. I felt very loved and cared for. Highly recommend it.

Also, I noticed the Sugarfina box is on sale right now. Score!

I’m going to check out more of these. 🙂

Thanks for sharing your experience with Spoonful of Comfort, Chris! As I was poking around their website I got such a warm feeling inside, thinking how nice of a treat this would be to receive. I’m glad to hear it’s as good as it seems!

is there any way to get free shipping for sugarfina? Their shipping is super expensive

They used to have that sometimes, but not that I have seen recently. Hopefully they bring it back eventually. I ended up ordering this box and some other items in their sale section. They are having a bunch of sales now. I stocked up on some for gifts for Father’s Day and other upcoming occasions and also was able to get the free surprise candy cubes deal they are offering now. I don’t like paying for shipping, but I feel that I was able to get a great deal overall even with the shipping cost. My friends/family seem to always enjoy their candy. Good luck!
