BoxyCharm always seems to be a hit for college-age women and above due to its versatility and relatively low cost.
One of Taryn Lowman's favorite boxes so far was the January 2024 box. It came with Rodial XXL Mascara, feel Squalane Facial Oil, REALHER Probiotic Setting Spray, GLOW RECIPE Niacinamide Sunscreen, and HALF CAKED Lip Duo. "This BoxyCharm by Ipsy was filled with essentials that I'm reaching for everyday! The mascara goes on like a dream, leaving me clump-free and curled. The sunscreen works to hydrate and leave my skin glowing while protecting my skin from the sun year-round, something that is really important to me. Honestly, I cannot say enough about the setting spray, it literally gives me a dewy glow all day. The facial oil feels great on my skin and is hopefully reducing fine lines and wrinkles quickly. While I didn't love the lipgloss duo, my daughter is obsessed with it!"

Subscription Box Details
Bespoke Post delivers a mix of clothing, gadgets, and home essentials from under-the-radar businesses. Their themed monthly subscription boxes are designed to introduce you to something new, like a trend-conscious take on barware or exploring a specific hobby. While Bespoke Post is beloved by our more adventurous readers and staff, anyone can benefit from their monthly offerings. Plus, you can set your product preferences and always have the option to skip a month (but we highly doubt you'll ever need to).
It's hard to pick a favorite box by Bespoke Post considering that our staff has reviewed dozens of them to date, but we thought the "Rare Box" Brandi received in November 2022 was pretty stellar. This set came with an Avanta Teak Wood Steak Knife Set by Messermeister, an Ancho Chile Coffee Blend Rub by Whiskey Bent BBQ, and an Echo Pocket Scope by Brunton. The knife set was a major win for both Brandi and her husband, "My husband and I have not purchased any new cutlery since we got married 9 years ago, and it seemed like it was time to upgrade our steak knives–so this box seemed like a great option!...Not only do these look incredibly nice, but they have a bit of weight to them making them feel sturdy and durable. These are definitely an upgrade to the knives we had previously!"

We got to try out the following plus-version crates: Let's Bond!, Let's Sense!, Let's Pretend!, and Let's Solve! Here's a quick recap of my experience: "Panda Crate was a total hit with my 2 kiddos! You can even adjust your subscription tier to make your plan work better for your budget in case you have a month that's not to hectic.
We're totally in love with all the statement pieces that Mary's tried in her Armoire reviews. No shock to me that this is by Maggy London aka the Donna Morgan company... They all have nice prints, the fabric has loads of stretch, and they have a great vintage-inspired style. Here's what he had to say about his first experience: "The size of the box alone blew me away and what they filled it with did not disappoint...I was over the moon for the Kong Case... What a cool item to have in a subscription box. I really enjoyed the fixed-blade knife. I saw a lot of knives from other boxes and I think this was one of the best. The Fix it Sticks really impressed me. They will be great for tinkering. If I were a hunter, I'd probably be even more pumped. Subscription Box Details
Beauty Heroes goes for quality over quantity — you’ll receive 2-4 full-size beauty products from one clean beauty brand each month. Every product is required to meet their incredibly stringent Ingredient Standard and most products are certified organic. We love that every curation is seasonally appropriate and that they rotate products for skin, body, sun, and hair.
Christen was head over heels for her February 2024 curation: "Beauty Heroes brought the color, the bright scents, and the amazing plant-based ingredients this month with three wowing products that are unlike anything I've used before. The bi-phase toner is like a science experiment you can sink you face into, and I can't get over how refreshing it feels as it works to restore moisture and even the skin. The hydrating serum is a punch of pH-balancing botanicals that smells like a spa. The so-my-color guava oil is a little too aromatic for daily wear for me, but it honestly is an experience that breeds optimism in its hue and scent. What a bright spot in my month!"

You'll enjoy 4 full-sized beauty products each month that are consciously crafted by artisans. In addition to their monthly beauty box, you can also build your own bundle with their incredible selection of limited edition products.
Naomi received the following items in her July 2023 Box: NOURISH NATURALS lip stain, SERAPHINE BOTANICALS highlighting cream, PEONY mascara, ROSAFA face cream. "This was a solid month for Nourish Beauty Box! The highlight for me was the Rosafa Skincare face cream. I love how smooth and refreshing the product feels on my skin, and it’s meant to fight anti-aging, which I appreciate. Seraphine Botanicals’ cream highlighter was a surprise for me. Since the formula is oil-free, it does a much better job of staying on my face as opposed to some other cream blushes, which tend to slide right off. The lip stain from Nourish Naturals is always a welcome inclusion. I love how nicely it blends with my natural lip color, giving a bit of shine and hydrating my lips at the same time. Lastly, Peony Cosmetics’ mascara… I love the true black shade, and I appreciate the argan oil formula, which helps to condition, thicken, and strengthen my lashes while also giving them a voluminous look."

Naomi Pandolfi received the Essential Spring Beauty Rituals-themed box by Cocotique in April. It included the following items: REVEALU Gold Face and Body Gel Moisturizer, REVEALU Glow Face and Body Exfoliator, KREIZI BEAUTY Liquid Eyeliner Pen, PALMER’S Amino Bonding Complex Hair Oil, PH-D FEMININE HEALTH Women’s Health Probiotic, and DAILY CONCEPTS Makeup Remover Pads. Her final verdict was that "This was a great month for Cocotique! The highlight for me was definitely the surprise of not one but two RevealU products (moisturizer and exfoliator), both of which have become an important step in my skincare routine. Palmer’s hair oil is something I’ll be using on a daily basis, and it does an excellent job of smoothing down any frizz without weighing down my curls. The reusable makeup remover pads from Daily Concepts is another win, especially when it comes to travel. All-in-one sustainability and functionality."

Here's what she had to say: "As a mother of three, I really appreciated that Nurture Life was able to accommodate the needs of each of my children. This made it incredibly convenient to have it all delivered at once in one box... I usually like to let the baby eat what we eat for the most part, but these were great to balance out his meal and really ensure he got a full belly and I loved that we got two meals out of some of them. As for the toddler and kid meals, it was so convenient to have this quick and simple meal option for them on the night my husband was out of town for work and the night my daughter had dance class. And as an added bonus there are also compostable tea filters thrown in along with tasting notes and steeping tips.
Lindsey Morse opened up about her experience with Atlas Tea Club, "I've been writing food and wine reviews for My Subscription Addiction since 2014, and I've reviewed quite a few different tea subscriptions in my day. I'm a big fan of loose-leaf tea, and I used to own my own coffee shop and bakery. Even though we specialized in coffee, we took tea very seriously, and I was proud to stock a wide selection of premium loose-leaf teas from around the world...Atlas Tea Club delighted my senses and introduced me to some new teas that I'll seek out again. Taryn Lowman's first box came with a mix of beers from 3 Sheeps Brewing and Dick's Brewing Company including an IPA, Belgian-style Amber Ale, English Style Dark Ale, and English Porter. "This was my first time trying The Craft Beer Club and I really loved it! There was so much information about both featured breweries and great detail about each beer. I loved that each brewery added a recipe for a meal that would pair nicely with each of their beers. We love that you can customize your order for each delivery and set a delivery frequency that works best for your schedule. And we can't forget to mention that their flowers stay fresher for longer since they're directly sourced from the farm.
Emily Cosnotti reviewed Bouqs a while back and received some gorgeous bouquets throughout her recurring review series. Her favorite delivery by far was the Deluxe Poetic Bouquet which came with roses, hydrangea, and eucalyptus. "The roses add value and color to the bouquet and I am always happy to see eucalyptus as it's one of my husband's favorite scents! The colors are muted and classic and I will be proud to display these on my dining room table. My flowers arrived in great condition except for a few of the eucalyptus leaves. An arrangement like this would make a nice Mother's Day gift... For me, there is value in the convenience of having these flowers delivered, and I don't mind arranging them myself, plus I appreciate knowing more about the farm they came from. If the delight of a surprise bouquet and convenience of home delivery are pluses for you, I'd recommend trying this service."

You can browse each month’s selections before you sign up, which include new and early releases.
Jeanne Sager took on a recurring review series of BOTM and has racked up quite a collection of reads that have kept her on the edge of her seat. In March she received Listen for the Lie by Amy Tintera and shared the following: "Tintera chose to tackle one of the meatiest topics in the zeitgeist in true crime podcasts, and she does so masterfully, carefully balancing her prose so you finish the book not quite sure where she lands on the format. Meanwhile she weaves a tale that offers a sobering look at the way society treats the opinions of men vs. those of women and a hilarious novelization of our obsession with true crime podcasting. Listen to the Lie was that sort of un-put-downable novel I finished in a day, and not simply for the laughs (although there were plenty). I just had to know where Tintera would take the mystery next."
