I have done Barrel and Blade, and TacPack. I wasn’t happy with either.

TacPack has a great Christmas box, but every box after that was a disappointment. Not that you don’t get your money’s worth, because you do. But it’s seemed to be random things one might not have a use for. One box consisted of ONLY an AR handrail. Nice bargain and seemingly good quality, but in a size I would never use. TacPack has great customer service though, which is refreshing in today’s day and age.

Barrel and blade has charged me 3 times now and I have yet to receive ONE box. I ordered on the 30th of May and got charged that night. Got nothing on the 15th of June, but sometimes these things run behind, which means nothing till July… had to update my payment information on the 18th of June (my card got compromised)… They charged me AGAIN instead of updating my payment. Then come July I get a shipping notice for two boxes(which will likely be the same) and I get a charged for the next month. So here it is, 38 days in and I have been charged 3 times with no boxes yet. One was supposed to be here today but has been in Atlanta for 6 days.

Prices do NOT match the pictures of crates. EX: Crate Club has different levels of crates. I purchased the middle and high end crate. The middle crate, which cost $54 + shipping, consisted of a pare of Hackett sunglasses found online for $24 and a dog tag necklace that doubles as a can opener. Cost me $60.
Also paid $400 for the Platinum box. Got a few nice things in this one, good quality rope, a few bags, sunglasses, a fishing hook and the Storm backpack. Good quality items but definitely NOT $400 worth. I’ll be cancelling my subscription and buying what I need individually. And I’ll continue to dontate cash to our veterans.
Also they advertise shipments are sent within a week but I had to send multiple conversations only to be told all boxes ship quarterly Sept Dec March and June. So if you order in July don’t plan to get your 1st shipment til the mid Sept. But they didn’t tell me that until the 3rd time I contacted them. They did get my order out the same week that I made my 4th attempt to check on my shipment.
