Green Kid Crafts Reviews

This month’s Green Kid Crafts was was really fun. We had four activities that were educational, interesting, and fun. We enjoyed the curation of the projects, and while we didn’t do our globes quite right, we ended up with some decorative treasures that the kids are really proud of.

This month’s Green Kid Crafts was a little unexpected, but a ton of fun. Candles aren’t necessarily something I associate with Science or children, but the curation of this box, was really well laid out and was exciting not only for the kids, but for me as well. We learned about different types of candles and the science behind them, along with how candles burn, and 2 different methods for creating candles. This month there was only 4 activities, but I felt that they were substantial activities that really carried the box in the fun and learning department. My only suggestion would be to add a few more tealight molds and wicks, as I had quite a bit of wax left over. I can’t wait to see what next month’s theme might be! 

This month’s Green Kid Crafts might just have taken over the top spot! Last month’s “Arctic Science Kit” was fun, but I don’t think anything can beat those jelly marbles! We found the curation to be well thought out, well executed, educational, and fun. We learned a lot about primary, secondary, and tertiary colors, and just had a general good time while conducting all of the experiments. I appreciate the STEAM involvement in each of these boxes and the fact that it supplements learning at home in a entertaining way. I can’t wait to see what next month’s theme might be!
