I was so excited for this month’s OwlCrate Jr theme knowing elephants were involved and I love that they sent two great elephant-themed books! In addition to the 2 books, we also received a stuffed elephant, an eraser, a pen, a collectible sticker, and a bookmark, which comes to a total of $40.96 for the items I could get retail values on (less with sale prices).  While I did really love the book and especially this whole theme, I found myself wishing there was just one more cute elephant item in this box! Although, I think it is easy to forget that a donation was made to Elephanatics.org, so I know that adds some value to this $38.98 ($29.99 + $8.99 shipping) box!

I loved this month’s OwlCrate Jr theme and how perfectly it tied into our book this month! The word cards, notebook, pencil case, and even the Diary of a Wimpy Kid themed items were all appropriate for our main character, Cooper, who kept his own journal full of big, “delicious” words. This book showed kids that it’s okay to be full of emotions and it demonstrated several appropriate outlets for them, which I think is incredibly important. This box was a fantastic one that I hope kids will enjoy as much I did! This box recently increased in price and now costs $38.98 ($29.99 + $8.99 shipping) and our book and cards had a total value of $25.98. That leaves $13 for the notebook, pencil pouch, pins, bag, and stickers, which I think is definitely worth it considering most were designed exclusively by talented artists!

This was one of my favorite books that I’ve received from OwlCrate Jr and I loved the theme it inspired. The idea of inner magic and self esteem is one that is important at this age and the items in the box were both fun and inspiring. I enjoyed the tea, my children loved the bubble bar, and it was so nice to receive a full set of mini gel pens to use. I love the gorgeous art print and the I thought the journal was perfectly thought-provoking and a great way to instill some confidence in one’s own abilities. This box full of exclusive items always feels like a great value!
