How Scent Box Works

First, you will need to choose whether you want to receive 1 or 2 scents per month.

Then, you can select a plan that gives you access to 575+ designer fragrances or opt for a slightly more expensive plan that provides access to 850+ fragrances, including 275 premium options.

Once you’ve decided on the plan you want to sign up for, you’ll need to checkout and make your first payment. Following payment, you can then go into your online account and choose which fragrance you want to try for the upcoming month. Customers can filter through options by perfume or cologne or select by specific brands.

You’ll then receive either 1 or 2 8ml / 0.27 oz travel atomizer sprayers filled with your chosen scent sometime between 7-10 business days from your monthly ship date. If for any reason you’re not satisfied with the scents you received, Scent Box will allow you to make one exchange shipment per month, up to a maximum of 5 exchange shipments per year. If you received 2 fragrances, you can also exchange both of them for something else.

If you decide to cancel, make sure to cancel before your monthly charge date by contacting Scent Box online through their customer service page or by email.

Scent Box offers one of the largest selections available today for fragrances and has plenty of options to choose from for both perfume and cologne. It’s an incredible service to try if you’re not sure which fragrance fits you best or if you’re looking to mix scents up. It’s also one of the few services to actually provide an exchange service as many of its competitors do not offer this service.

Is Scent Box Worth It?

Scent Box provides customers with an incredibly affordable option for trying out new perfumes and colognes. While it may not include any other freebies or supplemental items, it's a great basic subscription for trying out sample size fragrances of the leading brands available today.

How Scent Box Compares to Other Perfume & Fragrance Subscriptions

Scent Box VS Scentbird: Scentbird is very similar to Scent Box in that it offers perfume subscriptions for both women and men and provides its customers with a 1-month supply (8 ml) of designer scents. However, Scentbird also utilizes a Fragrance Quiz to help recommend new scents to try. Scentbird costs $15.95 per month and also offers subscription plans for 3, 6, and 12-month commitments as well. Scent Box is the better subscription if you want to try 2 fragrances per month and have a wider range of options, but it appears based on customer reviews that Scentbird is more highly favored and has better customer service.

Scent Box VS Olfactif: Olfactif allows customers to try out 3 different fragrances in 2mL vials each month for $20.00. The catch to this subscription is that you aren’t able to choose your fragrances and each box’s scents vary from one month to the next. However, if you happen to love one of the fragrances included in your box, you can purchase a full bottle for 20% off. Olfactif is best suited for people who like to try out multiple scents at once, but Scent Box is better for customers who know what they want to try and want to have autonomy in their decisions.

Scent Box VS Margot Elena: Margot Elena is one of the most popular fragrance subscriptions available today. It costs $60 per quarter and customers will receive a box every three months. While each subscription box is a complete surprise, past box items have included body butter, body oil, candles, shower gel, rollerball perfume, soap, bath salts, greeting cards, and hand cream. Margot Elena is a better subscription for a full pampering experience whereas Scent Box is geared towards customers who are only looking to purchase perfume or cologne.
