This month’s The Box By Fashionsta for Men was heavy in the self-care products. I thought every item was nice, but there wasn’t a real stand-out for me. It could have been the money clip, if it was more my style. The mints and lip balm were OK. I anticipate enjoying the hair paste. The anti-aging serum was really nice. I like the corkscrew and suspect wine-drinkers will like it even more. That leaves the anti-chafing lotion, which I will pick as my favorite. Since I have always been one of those messy powder guys, I’m excited to tried a lotion that does the same. I just need warmer weather for me to be more active. Overall, it was a good box, but not too exciting. It felt like they went with more items instead of bigger ones and that’s OK. This is one of my favorite boxes, in part because it opens me up to products I wouldn’t normally buy or use myself. I will use each of these items, except the money clip. But, again, that is just a preference thing.

This month’s The Box By Fashionsta for Men was all about reflection, relaxation, and resolution. It was a thoughtful and purposeful box. I was very excited by the journal and pen at first glance, but personally was disappointed it wasn’t what I wanted in either item. Again, that is just me. I think the planner fits the theme of the box and the pen is nice, but neither item is one I would choose for myself. It is because I journal so much that I have a particular style I prefer. So it is entirely on me for not enjoying these items as much as many may. Both of the face care items were wonderful, but I am going to choose the hand cream as my favorite item. I’m moisturizing constantly and this is a step up from the cream I use. It has a nice smell and if there are any real benefits to CBD, that is a plus. The listed value of this box clocks in at $111, which is more than three times the cost. I thought the planner was a little pricey, but good ones are. Overall, I appreciated the thoughtful items and execution of the theme.
