Subscription Details:
Boxes bought on an annual subscription will continue to be delivered until the subscription runs out, and your cancellation of an annual subscription will begin the next cycle. For quarterly subscribers, cancelations take effect as soon as the final box that has been paid for is shipped. The biggest difference is that JourneeBox has a direct to consumer business model, meaning they customize and design all of their products in-house, while Alltrue’s are sourced from sustainable companies they have partnered with. Pricing for subscriptions is comparable, with Alltrue boxes priced at $54.99 per quarter (or $49.99 per quarter under an annual subscription plan).
Journee VS GlobeIn: Both companies focus on ethically sourced goods through Fair Trade practices. GlobeIn includes background stories to the various artisans featured in their box, while all of JourneeBox’s products are designed in-house. What is the difference between the two subscription options?
The Quarterly Subscription option includes four amazing JourneeBoxes during the year, as well as customizable options and access to add-ons, all for only $59.99 per box. Quarterly payments occur about one month before each new box comes out.
The Annual Subscription option includes all the benefits of the Quarterly Subscription, but can save $20 by choosing to pay $219.99 once per year, which amounts to only $54.99 per box! Additionally, Annual subscribers will receive a special gift in every JourneeBox as a thank you for their continued support. New Annual subscribers will be charged for their subscription one month before their first box, and receive priority for shipping.
Both subscriptions will renew automatically at the end of their cycle unless a customer chooses to opt out. Subscribers who want to know more about their billing cycle or who have any questions about payments are welcome to contact customer service directly: [email protected].
Where does JourneeBox ship?
At this time, JourneeBox ships within the United States and to Puerto Rico. Subscribers in Puerto Rico, Alaska and Hawaii will be charged a $10.99 shipping fee, while shipping is $6.99 in the continental US.
JourneeBox does not ship to international destinations for orders placed online. If your order has a need for international delivery, you may reach out to customer service, where they will advise whether or not they are able to accommodate you.
When does JourneeBox ship?
JourneeBox ships four boxes per year. You can expect your jewelry to be shipped one to two weeks after your order is placed. In the event that the current box sells out, the date for the upcoming box will be provided on the product page. If an item is back ordered, JourneeBox will provide a revised delivery date at the time of order, or contact you with a revised delivery date after you place your order. During the month of December, if an item must be shipped in less than ten business days, contact JourneeBox prior to ordering to learn more about holiday delivery timelines.
How do I customize my JourneeBox?
In advance of the next JourneeBox, subscribers will be notified via email when customization options open up. In that email, subscribers will be directed to the landing page for that JourneeBox’s customization choices. The level of customization options varies with each box.
What is ethical about JourneeBox?
JourneeBox believes that the beginning of every “Journee” is important, so ethical sources for each of their products is vital. Each JourneeBox contains goods from all over the world — and with its Fair Trade Agreement, customers don’t have to worry about the ethics behind the brand. What is the return policy?
Kevia accepts items for exchange or return, if the item is returned in new and re-saleable condition within 21 business days from the delivery date of your order. Exchanges will be subject to shipping charges. Once your return is processed, a credit will be issued for the merchandise amount only. They cannot refund shipping charges on return items, and can only accept returns for items that were purchased directly from Kevia, LLC. If you purchased an item from a retailer, please contact the retailer regarding their return policy.

This is the 5th box I've received. I really like the different locations we are exposed to through the boxes. My favorite items in the Kyoto box are the Cherry Blossom earrings and matching bonus bracelet I received with the Virtual Forest Bathing Workshop. I also appreciate Kevia sending us links for the Furoshiki workshop so I can do the wraps properly. I am looking forward to the next box in the Journee.

Journeebox really is in a category all its own. The items are so thoughtfully curated and made, that it just doesn't compare to a box where big brands are using the box to advertise, or one where the curation is sort of around an entire season.
If you are a person who really wants the clear calendar, timely shipping, and fast customer service of a bigger box, this box is not going to be a great fit for you. But if you are more concerned about the what than the when and enjoy learning about other cultures/ideas, you'll love Journeebox.

Box took awhile to get to me but the items are gorgeous and high quality. I especially loved the serving bowl this time around. I felt like I was truly experiencing that place although I think the add-on for the virtual experience shouldn’t be priced so high. Lovely overall.

received the Jaipur and Qindao JourneeBoxes today. Each box left me breathless with goosebumps and audible gasps. The box itself is so beautiful. Each item was wrapped to perfection and the curation impeccable. Each item is a one-of-kind and so, so gorgeous. I have never received such good customer service (Hannah, thank you so much!) I signed up for an annual subscription to Journee Box right from the beginning because I was already familiar with Kevia jewelry ftom another subscription and loved it! I have also shopped from their website for other items and have enjoyed everything, so an entire subscription featuring Kevia brand items? Yes, please! The style of most items just "speak" to me and the few items that I cannot use make excellent gifts. The value of what's received for what I pay is amazing. I will not hesitate to renew my annual subscription when it comes time. Also, when I have had questions, customer service has always promptly replied. A+++

I went with an annual subscription to this box in Spring 2019 after ordering a few jewelry items from Kevia and loving those. I have been very happy with the boxes I have gotten thus far. I have been enjoying the tea infuser from the Spring 2019 box since it came - it's beautiful, durable, and the blooming teas have been fun to watch. I also really liked the stud earring set included for annual members and wear those almost daily. The Summer 2019 box has also been great. I used the Herbs de Provence blend the other day and was really pleasantly surprised at how much I liked the flavor (I don't always like herbs de provence blends, so it was wonderful to find one I do enjoy). I have been wearing the tunic and gotten several compliments on it as well. The jewelry is substantial and well-made. I also love the blue box it comes in - I use those for nice storage. The one time I had an issue with not getting a shipping notice, customer service was back to me within 24 hours and had a solution. Overall, I highly recommend this box!

I signed up in July and was given the option of the Spring box or the Summer box. I really wanted their weekender bag that was included in the Spring box. Sign-up was super easy. Afterwards, a customer service agent contacted me with the option of also receiving the Summer Box or skipping that box completely. I appreciated the communication and the ability to skip the summer box, even though I technically signed up during the summer period. The quality of the items in the box and the box itself are superior to many other subscription boxes I’ve received in the past. I also appreciate Kevia’s commitment to sustainability and supporting ethical business practices. I highly recommend their sub boxes for anyone who is looking for beautiful, well crafted and sustainable items.

I first signed up for the spring box because of their lovely weekender and has since gone annual! The quality of the products are really good, especially the jewelry. They have a nice range of products in each box too, from skincare to clothes to home goods. Their customer service is awesome! Very quick to respond by email or phone, and shipping is fast. One of the best thing that they have different from other boxes is that annual members get an extra gift! I can't wait to see what their next box is!
