If you’re a guy that likes to look good and smell good, then you know the importance of finding high-quality products for your face and body that’ll get your significant other to do a double take.
That’s why I decided to see what all the hype was about and try two of the most popular men’s grooming lines: Duke Cannon and Every Man Jack. Here’s how they compared:
If you're looking for soap to get all of the dirt and grime off...Duke Cannon

Duke Cannon: My wife, dog, and I spend a lot of time outdoors, so it’s safe to say that I get pretty dirty, pretty often. Duke Cannon’s THICK Body Wash doesn’t mind. It’s formulated with a noticeably higher viscosity, tackling the toughest dirt and grime, and it’s enriched with minerals to naturally exfoliate, so you can ditch the poofy loofah. But if you need even more exfoliation, you can use their Tactical Scrubber that has a coarse mesh to scrub your hands and feet, and a softer mesh for less rough areas.
Every Man Jack: This all-natural, eco-friendly body wash is also effective, but to me, it feels more watered down and the lather isn’t as rich, so it requires more product per wash.
Winner: Duke Cannon. While Every Man Jack is great for mild cleans, Duke Cannon takes the cake when it comes to tackling dirt and grime from a day well spent outdoors or working.
If you're looking for a wide variety of scents and grooming products...Duke Cannon
Duke Cannon: There’s deodorant, body wash/bar soap, hair care, face care, beard & shave products, cologne, lip balm… the list keeps going. And they all come in manly scents like Midnight Swim, Bourbon, Bay Rum, Sawtooth, Naval Diplomacy, Wayfinder, Superior, High Country, and more.
Every Man Jack: They have a wide variety of products that come in more common scents that you can find elsewhere, like fresh Sea Salt, citrusy Mandarin Vetiver, Pacific Cypress, and Cedarwood.
Winner: Duke Cannon. Apart from the scents not being like anything else out there, in my opinion, they last. I no longer have to reapply throughout the day and my wife has definitely noticed. She loved the High Country, which smells like you just stepped into nature with its clean, crispy, and woodsy smell—makes sense, since we love to hike. Plus, they have a quiz you can take to determine which scent is right for you. EMJ, on the other hand, didn’t last very long, and I was back to smelling like I worked all day quicker than I’d hoped.
If you want your beard to feel soft...Duke Cannon

Duke Cannon: There’s a variety of products to choose from to help tame my beard, keep it soft, and keep my skin moisturized. My favs are the Beard Wash, Beard Oil, and Beard Balm, which conveniently come in a bundle (you can also purchase the products separately if you want to change up your scents).
Every Man Jack: They also have a bundle which includes a wash, oil, and butter that takes the guesswork out of caring for your beard.
Winner: Duke Cannon. While the Every Man Jack bundle is cheaper (their bundle is $36 compared to DC’s $48), Duke Cannon makes my beard feel like a teddy bear (my wife’s words, not mine), and my skin feels smoother and more moisturized than ever.
If you want an affordable soap...Duke Cannon or Every Man Jack
Both Duke Cannon and Every Man Jack are priced similarly depending on the product or bundle. You can get body wash, haircare, beard products, and etc. all for around $7-45.
The winner is (drumroll please)...Duke Cannon
Every Man Jack puts up a good fight with their clean, straightforward products, but Duke Canon’s high-quality grooming line really is the best for me. Their products make me look, feel, and smell better than ever—enough to get my wife to snuggle up a little closer.
And, as if that wasn’t enough to convince you, all Duke Cannon products are proudly made in the USA, and a portion of the proceeds are donated to U.S. veterans! So, if you’re looking for a grooming routine that does good while making you look and smell good, Duke Cannon is the way to go.
