I’m always looking for versatile pieces that can handle everything. I’m the type of guy who wants to go for a morning walk at 8 and be ready for a meeting at 9. So pants that are stylish enough for the office but durable and flexible enough for an active lifestyle are non-negotiable for me.
I ended up putting three popular brands to the test: Fabletics’ Don Pant, Vuori’s Meta Pant, and Lululemon’s ABC Pant. Each has its own perks, but one definitely took the top spot in my book. Here’s why.

Vuori’s Meta Pant also performs well in terms of stretch and flexibility, but the fabric feels slightly heavier than The Don Pant. Lululemon’s ABC Pant is cut with extra room in the crotch for better movement. It was just made from a material that felt a bit stiff—which doesn’t exactly give it points for comfortability.
If you want excellent value for your money…Fabletics

Vuori’s Meta Pant also deserves a nod here with its classic 5-pocket design, giving it a versatile jeans vibe that’s perfect for casual outings and low-key work environments. Lululemon’s ABC Pant, while sleek, leans more toward a casual-athletic look rather than a polished business casual.
So, Fabletics and Vuori come out on top here for versatility, with Fabletics leading slightly in ease of switching from formal to casual.
If you care about fabric technology…it’s a tie!
I never paid much attention to fabrics, but boy, do they make a difference. In this round, I couldn’t pick a definitive winner. I mean, Fabletics’ Don RepelKnit fabric is a major selling point. Then Vuori’s Meta Pant has a quick-drying and moisture-wicking fabric, which is excellent for hotter climates. Even the ABC Pant has Lululemon’s Warpstreme™ fabric, which is wrinkle-resistant and has great shape retention, so it holds up well through daily wear.
I know you might think this isn’t important…but once you test these things, it’s mind-blowing! I had to give points to all here because they all had great features.
If you want pants that can handle everyday wear…Fabletics
One thing that really stood out with The Don Pant was its durability. The fabric holds up incredibly well, even after multiple washes. I’ve worn these more times than I’d care to admit, but they haven’t shown any signs of fading or wear in the seams.
Vuori’s Meta Pant also offers solid durability, but I noticed a slight loss of shape in the knees. Lululemon’s ABC Pant is sturdy, but seriously the heavy fabric makes it just not my favorite go-to pant option.
