Spring has finally arrived, and with it comes a time to manifest our inner visions and dreams. That is, the dream of activewear that makes us feel (and look) our best. I remember the days when it was lululemon or nothing, but now there are a million brands out there that offer beautiful outfits to practice your poses. Two brands that I’ve tried recently are Fabletics and Outdoor Voices. Here are my thoughts on both.
If You’re Looking for Activewear That Fits Your Style and Body… Fabletics
My yoga practice is all about accepting and loving our bodies, minds, and spirits as they are. We all come in different forms and it’s important to respect that. I really like that Fabletics has so many different styles and patterns (literally hundreds!) to suit every yogi. I also love dressing to reflect my mood and I find that I’m always able to find the right outfit from Fabletics. Outdoor Voices takes a slightly more minimalistic approach with most styles available in solid colors, like black and jewel tones.
Even more important than a wide selection of styles and colors is clothing that actually fits all bodies. My belief is that working out is for everybody and every “body." Again, Fabletics wins here with a much wider size range.
If You Need Help Deciding What Activewear You Need… Fabletics
For my students, I act as a gentle guide into the world of yoga. It takes a lot of stress out of the learning process which is so helpful. Similarly, buying new gear can be stressful — especially if you’re new to working out — so I appreciate that Fabletics has a quiz that suggests activewear based on your preferences and lifestyle.
If You’re Looking for a Wide Range of Outdoor Accessories… Outdoor Voices
If you’re looking for a one-stop-shop for all things outdoor, Outdoor Voices is for you. On top of activewear, they sell running shoes, socks, hammocks, hats, and camping gear. Whether you’re trail running or setting up your camping spot, they have the basic accessories that you need.
If You Love the Convenience of A Subscription… Fabletics
You don’t need a membership to order from Fabletics but they do offer a subscription service that comes with a member credit every month and 20-50% off everything. For me, routine is super important and I like being able to add to my repertoire without upsetting my wallet too much. The membership is just $59.95 a month, and since the member credit covers either a 2-piece set (that normally ranges between $79.90 and $149.90), or up to $100 on any one item, you pretty much make the membership fee back and more each month. The credits also don’t expire for an entire year so it’s totally fine to bank it all for an amazing birthday bundle for yourself!
What's even better is that Fabletics is currently running their best deal of the year! From now until December 11th, you can snag 80% off anything on their site by becoming a VIP member. If you have been thinking about trying Fabletics, now is the perfect time!
The Ultimate Winner… Fabletics
When it comes to manifesting my dream of yoga wear that makes us feel (and look) our best, I have to go with Fabletics. I love that their diverse styles fit all shapes and sizes, and the no-stress membership option is in-line with my inner peace (and wallet). I think my next yoga outfit is sure to be a fabulous look from Fabletics! Namaste.
