The first thing I noticed was the smell… It was so strong we could smell it through the packaging. My wife loved the matte black box that has a satin pull tab that reveals the words “Smell Good, Look Good, Feel Good” on the inside.
The box of glowing pods looks like a treasure chest, and they smell great– closer to a cologne or a candle scent than to a cleaning product.
But what really sold me was when I pulled my laundry out from the dryer, I was hit with a woody and slightly musky Sandalwood scent, and I stood there for a minute just inhaling it - that’s how good it smelled.
My wife said she loved the smell and actually preferred it to my regular cologne. Who knew a detergent pod would lead to saving money?

Ever notice how ambiguous “Fresh Clean” scents are? I want to know what’s in my laundry, and I want the scents to come from real, quality ingredients.
With the kids in the house, my wife also cares about all ingredients being safe for them. She loves that there are no parabens/phthalates, pesticides, animal products, and GMOs. After several loads, we haven’t had any problems with skin irritation.
Plus, there’s something to be said about the twinge of guilt I feel every time I buy a huge plastic jug of detergent from the store. It’s not like laundry jugs can be reused for anything, so why waste so much plastic?

I can’t lie–we’re hooked on Laundry Sauce's special sauce. It’s a small daily luxury I never knew I needed and honestly, it makes all of us smell so damn good. I love that the personalized quiz makes buying laundry pods fun and helps me find a smell that I actually want to wear.
Even after multiple washes, my clothes still smell as amazing as they did after the first wash. Since using Laundry Sauce, I haven’t bought another cologne and can confidently say that I smell the best I ever had. Let me tell you, these small pods are more powerful than I expected. Just be careful–once you try it, you won’t be able to go back.
