I am a 48-year-old dad with 4 young children and a puppy, so a good skincare routine is essential to keep the stresses away and the ‘always tired daddy look’! I started using skincare products when I was 25, and for the past 10 years, I have been writing reviews about products for men.
So, I tried Disco every day for 7 days, and here is what happened.
First, you need to know that each product is vegan, made of natural ingredients, paraben-free, and contains a lovely eucalyptus scent that I truly love.
Disco’s Face Cleanser Stick & Face Scrub
Starting the day with fresh, clean skin is a very important step. Disco has an innovative solution for that: a charcoal face cleanser that looks like a deodorant stick! It was easy to apply all over my dry face. It’s funny how my skin started to look dark grey - my puppy didn’t recognize me! Once the face and neck are completely covered it’s time to rinse with warm water. I immediately noticed how clean and hydrated my skin looked. Of all the face washes with charcoal I have tried, this one has the best concept and results. It looks like my Disco adventure is off to a good start!
The Exfoliating Face Scrub made with papaya extract is a product that I use twice a week instead of the face wash. This time I apply the product directly onto my wet face and massage it onto my skin. Once again, the result is great: my skin is extra smooth and refreshed.
Disco’s Face Moisturizer & Mineral Sun Block
The next step of my skincare routine is to moisturize my face. I received two different moisturizers from Disco. The first one is the Hydrating Face Moisturizer. It has a good consistency (not too thick or too liquidy). The product is nice and leaves my skin feeling smooth, but it feels like I need to reapply it at around 3-4pm. That’s why I think this is a great moisturizer for men aged 20-30 because it will easily moisturize younger skin all day long.
However, the moisturizing Mineral Sun Block with SPF 30 is a great product. We all know that it’s important to use a daily moisturizer with SPF especially now with the summer months just around the corner. Personally, I use this moisturizing sunblock as my daily moisturizer and it actually works great for me. My skin feels extremely smooth, it looks healthy and younger, and most importantly it doesn’t feel greasy (normally the case with sunblocks). It also works fantastically as an anti-fatigue, so what’s not to like!
Disco’s Face Mask & Eye Stick
Then I tried (twice) the Rejuvenating Face Mask. This is such a fun product to use. Marlow (my puppy) and my kids were like “Dad, what are you doing?”. I applied this product generously all over my face (except beneath my undereyes). And 15 minutes later the magic happened. I rinsed the product and I thought I was in my 30s again. This is by far the highlight of all the Disco products. It left my skin super smooth, less puffy, and even my pores looked smaller.
Four young children mean years of sleep deprivation which I am sure a lot of you can relate to. Unfortunately, it shows in one particular area: under the eyes. I always find it difficult to get rid of bags, puffiness, and dark circles. Disco has a Repairing roll-on Eye Stick with caffeine extract to help solve this problem. The tiny metal ball is handy and it feels nice and cold when I apply this product under my eye. It’s thin and absorbs easily. Overall it is a nice product to use; thanks to the caffeine I have noticed a reduction in puffiness. I am confident that my dark circles and bags will dramatically reduce after a few weeks of daily application.
Disco’s Fountain of Youth
Finally, I also received Disco's Fountain of Youth skin supplement of 60 capsules (take 2, once daily). It contains plenty of beneficial ingredients like Zinc, copper, and vitamin B. This supplement contains a blend of vitamins and minerals that help to improve my skin from the inside out: from smoother wrinkles to cell rejuvenation and the reduction of acne. So far I like it and I think it is a great complement to the Disco skincare routine.
Final Thoughts
Overall I think that Disco is a great choice for men that want an easy routine with great results. The quality of the products is great and some are truly outstanding. The eucalyptus scent is absolutely amazing, so for me, that’s a no-brainer: I highly recommend Disco. After 7 days of using Disco, my skin has never looked so good. My friends are already asking what’s my secret!
