I’ve been low-key (or maybe high-key) obsessed with MiLa’s dumplings ever since I discovered them. I never get tired of the umami-packed, savory flavor, so when I heard they’re bringing back their beloved soup dumplings in a totally plant-based version, I knew I had to have them. 

And since I’m not about to gate keep, I’m here to spill the soup (pun very much intended) on why you need these in your freezer ASAP.

They taste like the real deal

I’ve been looking for so long for a vegan option for soup dumplings and could never find one, but MiLa finally did it and they're the real deal.

We’re talking about 100% plant-based, jackfruit-filled, soup-bursting goodness that’s as close as it gets to the real deal. MiLa even uses their signature vegan gelatin to make sure you get that classic soupy sensation with every bite. 

I’ll say it: They’ve cracked the code for vegan dumplings that actually taste legit and like a soup dumpling should.

These days, my “takeout” comes from my freezer, and 9.5 out of 10 times, it’s MiLa’s soup dumplings I’m reaching for. They’re ridiculously easy to make—I just steam them, and they’re ready in minutes. I think it takes me longer to set up my dipping sauces!
