The problem with other mascaras
When I didn’t have to worry so much about maintaining my lashes, the L’Oreal Voluminous Mascara was my go-to. It gave my lashes great volume and thickness and it stays on all day without flaking. But the problem came when I went to remove it at the end of the day.
I had the hardest time removing that mascara! I used a few different kinds of makeup remover and it just wouldn’t come off. I have to scrub hard and pull at my lashes to get the mascara off. Still, I often wake up with mascara still on my lashes, pillow, and under my eyes.
All the rubbing and tugging made my lashes fall out and cause them to break. Not to mention, rubbing the delicate skin under my eyes all the time is not good for wrinkle prevention!
PrimeLash stays on all day but washes off easily
In comparison, the PrimeLash Mascara was the easiest mascara to remove. I used a washcloth with warm water and gently removed the mascara. I honestly couldn’t believe it. I didn’t even need an eye makeup remover to take it off. I’ve never had that happen before with a mascara that stayed on all day. Usually, the ones that stay on won’t ever come off!
But with PrimeLash there’s no tugging, scrubbing, or pulling. I can’t tell you how excited I am about that. I remove my makeup every single night and getting the mascara off is such a process and takes so much time. Not anymore!!
But how does it perform?
L’Oreal Voluminous does give me great volume and thickness but PrimeLash’s formula makes my lashes look fuller, thicker, and longer. My old mascara doesn’t give me the length that the Prime Prometics mascara does. I love how elongated my lashes look and I can really get those outer lashes to look nice and long giving the illusion of a more lifted eye. PrimeLash has a special application brush designed to hit all those little tiny lashes we have that can get missed with other applicators. And the brush is tapered so that we can really get a good angle on coating every lash.
As for clumping, PrimeLash’s unique brush really helps separate the lashes. I was able to apply two to three coats without worrying about my lashes clumping together! With the L’Oreal Voluminous, if I apply two to three coats the lashes stick together and start to clump. I always have to use a lash separator tool to get them apart.
Beautiful lashes at any age
PrimeLash checks all the boxes for me. The way it enhances my lash length and the fact that it never budged or smudged even after rubbing my eyes is pretty impressive. That combined with the fact that I can remove it with water and no longer tug at my eyes is a huge win for me!!
