Pureshape/2 vs. SKIMS: Which One is the Perfect Everyday Bra?

If you’ve ever gone on the ultimate quest for the perfect everyday bra, you know the struggle is real. Some pinch, some flatten, and others feel great but disappear after one wash.

So, when testing out Underoutfit’s Pureshape/2 Bra against the SKIMS T-Shirt Bra, I wanted to see which one truly deserved the “most comfortable, shaping, and versatile” title.

Both bras promise a seamless, supportive, and barely-there fit, but only one can be crowned the bra a cut above the rest. So, let’s get into it.

If you want all-day comfort… go with Underoutfit

SKIMS is known for its buttery-soft fabrics, and the T-shirt bra lives up to the hype. The 360-stretch fabric molds to your body and feels super lightweight. However, after a few hours, I started to feel the underwire pressing in. It’s flexible, sure, but it’s still there.

Underoutfit’s Pureshape/2 Bra, on the other hand, is completely wireless but still gives support. The satin fabric accents feel sleek and sexy, and the adjustable straps prevent digging or slipping. By the end of the day, I wasn’t desperate to take it off, which is rare for me.

If you want the best shape… go with Underoutfit

The SKIMS T-Shirt Bra does a great job of enhancing your natural shape without adding bulk. The lightly lined cups provide some structure, but since the fabric is so stretchy, it doesn’t hold its shape well over time. By the end of the day, the lift wasn’t as strong as when I first put it on.

Underoutfit’s Pureshape/2 Bra, on the other hand, has built-in padding that adds just the right amount of lift without looking overdone. This padding stays put, unlike bras with removable inserts that shift around in the wash, and I’ve never had a bra that accentuated my curves in such an elegant and classy way. The knitted front cradle gives a naturally sculpted shape that doesn’t flatten out.

If you want versatility for every outfit… go with either

Both bras do a great job of staying invisible under clothes. SKIMS’ seamless construction makes it disappear under T-shirts, and the fabric is so light that it never feels bulky.

Underoutfit’s Pureshape/2 Bra offers a bit more coverage while still being sleek. Being seamless and adjustable, it worked just as well under T-shirts but also provided enough support for lower-cut outfits. I never had to second-guess whether I was going to spill out or need to adjust, making it the perfect bra for every outfit.

If you want reliable support… go with Underoutfit

SKIMS relies on a flexible underwire and soft, stretchy fabric, which worked fine when I first put it on. But over the day, I found myself adjusting the band and straps to keep things in place.

Underoutfit’s Pureshape/2 Bra, even without an underwire, provided way more stability. The wider straps and structured design held everything up, and I never had to pull or reposition it. The soft back hook and eye and the 4 rows of adjustments for added flexibility gave ultimate flexibility. The breathable fabric also kept me feeling cool all day, a major plus.

My Pick? Underoutfit’s Pureshape/2 Won the Best Everyday Bra

I get why SKIMS is so popular. The T-Shirt Bra is soft, seamless, and lightweight, making it a great choice for casual wear. But when it comes to long-term comfort, shaping, versatility, and support, Pureshape/2 Bra is just better.

It gives all-day comfort without wires, holds its shape, works with every outfit, and stays put no matter what. Plus, it looks absolutely gorgeous on everyone who wears it. The 180-day trial makes it a no-brainer, and once you try it, you’ll see why it’s the ultimate everyday bra

If you’re still searching for the one, I say Pureshape/2 is it.
